President Trump claims he has a thick skin when asked by reporters. Well
in my opinion someone with a thick skin wouldn't worry about what people
thought. They would just carry on with their job, and if pressed might say
they were sorry people felt that way, but I am doing the best I can.  Instead
Trump just tries to blame the person who bad mouths him, and if pressed
will blame others for his problems. Because Trump wants people to think he
is a genius who never makes a mistake. He even  blamed the weather when
asked about his speech which included airports were attack during the
revolutionary war. If you listen to that part of his speech, there was no
hesitation, he  said it like he believed it to be true.

Did Trump take part  in the underage sex acts with the accused billionaire
in the 1990's? Seems Trump is wanting to hide his close relationship with
the accused. Reports are Trump spent a lot of time with him during
those years.  Apparently president Clinton  knew him as well, but
said the relations hip was mostly trying to get money for the Clinton
foundation. It would be good to know who all were involved in the crime.
It would likely drag a bunch of the rich delete into court, and make a lot of
lawyers very rich.

Government reports seem to show some of the young Latino  children who
are held along the boarder with Mexico have been sexually assaulted by border
agents of the U S. We know this happens in Mexico, but it should never
happen here. There is no excuse for this, no matter the stress. Also some
reports of border agents punishing children for complaining about how they
are being treated. There is no excuse for this either. If guards feel they can
punish kids, or even adults, they should be removed or fired.

To hear Trump they are being treated like kids at summer camp, and it's the
fault of the democrats for any overcrowding or shortages. He said this after those
in his administration said they had plenty of resources. Seems Trump can't keep
anything straight or honest. He tells so many lies it's no wonder he gets mixed
up at times.

The GOP senators are complaining that Trump isn't getting rid of regulations
fast enough. Apparently pressured by their big business donors who gave
them millions for reelection. Expecting relief from profit harming regulations.
This one of the main reason the GOP is putting conservative judges in courts.
To reduce controls on corrupt money grubbing people.

Trump claimed he would hire the best people. Unfortunately Trump
only see's dollar signs, loyalty, and personal looks when he picks
people.  Not their ability, or desire to do anything but get richer
than they already are. No matter what it costs the tax payer.

Where is the GOP who stood for law and order? They stand quietly
by while Trump breaks law after law, and treats the  constitution
like a dirty rag. When will people start punishing them for their
dirty deeds? If they don't we could loose our democracy. I know
it's not perfect, but it's better than what most other countries
have. People can become rich beyond their wildest dreams, but
at the cost of others. This is why we need regulations to limit
the  destructive power of Greed, and it's lasting effect on our
environment.

It appears Trump wants ICE to go after 2000 immigrants who have
no legal status here. At that rate it would take 16 years to remove
11 million if they removed 2000 a day. So it easy to see this action
by Trump is nothing more than politics. It would be impossible to
remove them even that quick. Even if they stood in line to go.
This business of Trump removing illegal immigrants from this
country is nothing but a fantasy he is feeding his supporters.

We should be working to help make the countries these people
come from more desirable. If the Latin American countries had
good jobs, and law enforcement, these people would never leave
in the first place. Also many of the illegal aliens would go back
if they felt there would be a good life for their children. People in
general don't want to leave home in the first place. But if there isn't
any future or threat of starvation and death, they will  risk everything
trying to  find a better life for their children.

Trump has no idea what it's like to live as these people have to. He
has no understanding of doing without food or health care. Every
day of his life he only had to holler, and hired servants would be
there to follow his every wish. So he see's others the same way.
He thinks everyone can be de-swayed by the almighty dollar. You
can see this in how he talks to the North Korean leader, or even
Iran. It's because he doesn't understand anything else.

Trump has spent enough money trying to  stop immigration to
make a real difference in Latin American countries, but no, Trump
wants a symbol like a wall that he can point to, feeling it would get
him reelected in 2020. Already other countries like China, and Russia
are working to gain influence in these poor countries. This is the way
communism is sold around the world. Promising of equality for all,
but instead it's just a curtain of lies. China, and Russia are only
interested in the natural resources they can steal  while offering
to help.

The GOP is doing all they can to convince people that immigration
is a bad thing. They fear diversity, because it will weaken their ability
to hold on to power. Latino's and other people of color want equality
more than the money that the GOP offers to gain support. If the
GOP fails to change, they will be lost to history by 2040. Most of
the old white men and women will be gone by then. Along with
their votes.

The younger generation is smarter, and likely can see the cliff the
GOP is rushing toward. I am sure the GOP leadership will do all
they can to build support  from young white people, but it's a loosing
battle. Women unlike their parents won't stand for the good ole boy
way of doing things any more.

I have always thought this.  If we make other countries strong enough to support themselves, and friendly to us because they WANT to be friends with us, then we all benefit. Someday I fear America will be judged by other nations in a war or other such event, and we may be judged by our actions towards other nations in the present time.

It's obvious Trump is running scared from his old friend in Florida. He doesn't
want anyone to think he was involved in any way with attacks on underage
girls. As usual he claimed his Secretary of Labor asked to resign, but I am
sure Trump had him removed, because of Trumps fear that the longer the
story about his Secretary of Labor went on, it could make him look bad, or
perhaps bring things to light Trump wants to hide.

This whole thing is more proof of Trumps poor management. No competent
leader would put a man in a job with a background this Secretary had. It
also shows the same for the leader of the senate, because his record was
known when he was accepted for the job.

Trump cries; "The democrats always want to point out his mistakes." Well if
he would do a proper job, instead of putting his money grubbing friends in
jobs where they have no business being, the criticism would be much less.

Now he has almost a  dozen of his friends working as acting heads of
government agencies. People who should be vetted by the senate first,
not just put there, because Trump thinks they are good people. So far
Trump has a poor record of picking good people. In fact most are bad
people with a lot of money, or because they bragged on him.

This morning during Trumps press conference he is claiming the
the reduction of immigrants is due to him, and Mexico, but it's
likely because this is the hottest time of year for the path
many immigrants have to  take, and are probably waiting
for cooler weather.

As always, when Trump stands in front of a camera he starts bragging
on how good a job he is doing with lie after lie. As I have said before
when he repeats himself, again and again you can depend on
it being a lie.

When will Trump work to lower drug prices? When will he start on infrastructure,
or protecting social security, medicare,  medicaid, and health care? He
promised to do these things, but hasn't. He wants to blame the democrats
instead of admitting his tax cut for the rich and spending for the military
is making it impossible to work on needed projects like infrastructure.

The Vice President  stood and lied about how the people held in detention
centers. Claiming they are being treated well, when he knows they are not.
No Christian, as the VP claims to be could see what Trump is doing to these
immigrants and lie about it. Instead he should resign, rather than being a
party to it. But no, he like all of those who are  tied to  Trump, just lie and
lie, to please Trump, and his supporters. I imagine the VP is doing
this so Trump will keep him as VP in the 2020 election.

Trump continues to lie, hide, and cover, this is why he is working to
keep people from talking to  congress. He knows his supporters don't
pay much attention to the news, but seeing people in congressional
hearings is more believable than any  news program, and Trump
knows it.

The has been a lot of talk on the liberal news about the rich getting
sweet deals from prosecutors, and lawyers. It seems there is a good
ole boy club of  rich lawyers who offer their services to people who
can pay huge sums to get away with crimes. Who can say how big
this club is, but it like  all things with the rich, It's money, and
more of it.

This is another reason we need to get money out of the legal
system in general. Because it gives people of means an unfair
advantage over the rest of us. As long as lawyers can charge
any amount they want, there is no justice for anyone, but the
rich. The best cure is to set the fees lawyers can charge. Set
the hourly pay for services. Some get thousands for little or
no work at all.  I think the first thing we should do is vote
lawyers out of our law making bodies.

Yes this sounds like I hate lawyers, but it's not that, because
there are many good honest people in law. People who want
to protect the weak and innocent from the rich predators
among us. The bad people depend on citizens not voting and
not taking the time to understand or find out what is actually
going on. So people who have a conflict of interest
should be kept from making laws for the good of us all.

Unfortunately most of these bad, and greedy lawyers are
members of the republican party. This is why you see so
much work being done to limit voting. They know if the
average American gains control they will be the losers.

This is why new nations start out with good intentions,
then as time passes people of greed take power to protect
themselves. Unfortunately things have to  get really bad
before the crooks are thrown out. Seems it's the nature of
most people to  be reactive instead of proactive. So they don't
want to believe something is wrong till it hurts them personally.
By then it's really hard to fix, because laws will have been made
to protect the crooks, and their supporters.

If things get bad enough, the only fix is a constitutional convention.
A reset of sorts to correct problems created by people of greed.
Otherwise the people may rise up, and use violence if corrections
fail to be made. Something that rarely ends up solving anything,
because of the chaos it causes.

The best thing everyone can do is work to  put good honest
people in congress,. Both state and federal. Then get out and
vote. Otherwise nothing will change, and  may get worse.

he GOP wouldn't have to try limiting voting if they would
support minorities instead of only doing what white good old
boys want them to do.

Now Trump and his GOP cronies are telling descendants of
immigrants who were born in this country to go home. Well
in that case Trump should go back to where his ancestors
immigrated from. Along with anyone else who feels this way.

How long will the GOP stand by and let President Trump break
the law? Perhaps as Senator Sanders says, it will take a
revolution of voters to send the grand old party a notice that
they must change or end up in the dust bin of history.

The problem is many Americans want to sit back and let the
world go by. To wait till their ox is gored to come out of the
shadows and vote. We can hope that that Trump, the worst
president in history will bring them out to get rid of him, and
if there is any justice left, send him to prison for the rest of
his life.

If Trump holds on to  power for another term of office our
democracy will shift toward an autocratic form of government.
One where law will be the will of he leader, or president, and
not the people. The far right crowd may think Trump is a great
president, because he does things they like, but they will not
like where this will end, because only the elite will have the
power. Much the same as China, and Russia. So if the government
wants their guns, they will take them, if people refuse they will go
to prison with no rights at all, and prisons will be much the same
as immigrant detention centers are today.

Like Russia it's the super rich who want power, they use human
nature to gain control over law enforcement and the military
with promises of the good life to those who do their bidding.
Then they  play people against each other to keep control, even
to have them killed if necessary.

I know most people can't believe this could happen here, but it's
already starting. Russia is in the process of turning Europe in to
states under Russian control. Putin wants to  make them dependent
so if they try to  walk away he will turn off their power and gas.
Also he is manipulating their elections to get hard liners who support
Russia in power. Something he wants to do here, and will succeed
if we don't get out and vote to stop Trump in 2020. Putin just wants
the united states to stop trying to liberate the world. So he along
with other  strong man leaders can run the world and it's economy
to suit themselves.

If you think we can stand alone, and ignore the rest of the world, think
again. People of power will never stop till they control the world or
destroy it. I know we can't police the world, but we can make it very
difficult for bad leaders to prosper by leading other countries toward
a democratic form of government. This is what Russia, China, and other
countries like them want to stop. The world is heading into a dark time
for us all, if we do nothing, but watch.

I hope people wake up and see the parallels between the current presidential orders and those carried out by the Third Reich...Trump definitely needs to be impeached or voted out. I really hope people get rid of him, one way or another, because this country is supposed to be "of the people, for the people and by the people," according to our Constitution. What was the point of the Declaration of Independence and establishing a democracy if people are to be this apathetic? Our founding fathers are likely rolling in their graves and I hope we can make a change for the better soon.

Trump is playing a new gambit where he hopes to deny immigrants
asylum. He is saying they must get asylum from another country first.
Namely Mexico. This desperate move by Trump isn't  likely to go anywhere
without congressional approval. Trump seems to think all he has to do is
make an executive order to get his way on about anything. Trump will
try anything to make his base voters happy. Except the promises to fix
infrastructure , lower drug prices, or about anything else he promised.

He brags on the stock market, but most people don't gamble their hard
earned money by putting it into stocks that can become worthless overnight.
I am sure most notice he never talks about the stock market unless it's
going up.

Before he was elected he was running the growing economy down, but
afterwords he claims the growth is all due to him. Also he said he would
work to  reduce the national debt, but it has grown over a trillion dollars
since he was elected. and he has done nothing to slow it, much less
reduce it.

Past presidents have always worked to tamp down racism, but Trump
encourages it. He seems to think by creating more division it will help
him with his reelection. So the GOP jumps on board instead of trying
to heal the division that is growing with Trumps every racist tweet.

With over a year to  the next election, how far will Trump go if his
polling numbers fail to show him gaining on the democrats? He
is likely to continue trying to stop immigration by Latins, and
other people of color.

His current attacks on minority congress  women  will only
hurt any support from people of color he might have.

Trump appears to think if he can get a huge turn out from
his base he can win. Well it is true only about 60-70%
of the population vote during presidential elections, he
probably figures a 90% turnout by his base can overtake
the democrats, and others who might vote with them. It
is true republicans turned out in greater numbers during
the primaries in 2016. I am hoping the desire to rid the
country of Trump is great enough to bring out a huge
number of voters. If not I  fear Trump might win the
electoral vote, while losing the popular vote as before.

In spite of what the news media wants to say, I think
a lot of people felt H. Clinton was going to win, and
didn't take time to vote. They  never thought  Trump
could win. Also many bought the lies made by the GOP,
Conservative media, and Russia that H. Clinton was
a bad person, so they felt why not try Trump, because
he couldn't be any worse.

It's time our country put term limits on congress members. Career
politicians are too susceptible to play for pay. They start thinking
no one else can do their job. Yes we would loose a few good people,
but a constant flow of new ideas should help much more than it
would hurt. I think a limit of 12 years of service would give any in
congress time to work ideas through to law. That would be 6 terms
for house members and 2 for the senate. Also end any and all
retirement pay for them. Also the government should pay campaign
expenses for people who have reasonable support. As is they have
to spend too much of their time raising money.

To hear the GOP and Trump, the democrats are too far to the left.
Their ideas will wreck the economy and the country. Isn't it odd
every time the GOP takes control of the white house the national
debt climbs faster, along with large deficit spending. Mostly due to
their crazy tax cut trickle down economic ideas that only make
the rich richer, and the middle class poorer.

Ever since the days of president Reagan the GOP has used this trickle
down economics idea. Claiming if you cut taxes for the rich and big
business, they will pass along the saving to the working class. Even
though they still make the same old claim, it never works, because
greed rules, and they use the saving to enrich themselves.

This is why the middle class stopped growing in the early eighties,
and the rich started getting richer. If we could  return tax rates to
what they were then, government could be operating at a surplus
instead of a deficit. Yes it would have to be adjusted to allow
for inflation, otherwise it could slow the economy and reduce
income for the government.

If we do nothing by allowing the GOP to continue their plans
to keep the rich happy. The national debt will reach a point
where the interest costs alone will out run the ability of
government to pay it. When that happens the value of the
dollar will crash, and inflation will skyrocket, and even a
wheelbarrow full of money won't buy anything. This may
cause a world wide depression which could start a war,
which could end civilization as we know it.

Yes this is a dire prediction, but the GOP and Trump are
driving us toward a cliff. The first to  suffer will be the
poor, then the middle class, followed by the rich who have
other resources to draw on.

Trump and the GOP claim the democrats will destroy the
country with their socialist ideas. They should talk, the
entire government operates using socialism. Every agency,
be it FBI, Senate, courts, the white house. They all use tax
dollars to operate. None of it is run with private funding.

An end to socialism would stop all retirement pay, not just
social security, but all of it. National parks could be sold
or left to decay and rot. Highways, and bridges would fall into
disrepair. Public schools would close, no police, or fire protection.

This is just a taste of how our country is run using tax money.
Yes we most keep our spending in mind, but only the GOP uses
poor economic ideas to stay in power.

Countries like Sweden have many social programs to help their
people, and yes they have high taxes, but people don't need as
much money with programs available that pay much of their
needs, and they still have a strong economy.

We could do as well if greedy people would get out of the way
and let our people grow, all of them, and not just the rich.

Trump sent 500 troops to Saudi Arabia, seemingly to help with
their war with a neighboring country. The last time troops were
there, it caused demonstrations against the United States. Hopefully
this isn't a  prelude to a war with Iran.

Trump showed his true colors at his rally last night. Full of his
lies, and a 15 minute rant about 4 congress women he wants
his supporters to hate. It's likely a dozen or two of his paid
supporters started a chant of "Send her back" in reference to
one of the congress women who immigrated here when she was
12 years old. Trump even suggested the woman married her
brother.

Trump love to  have an opponent. Since there isn't a democrat
nominee yet to oppose he apparently picked these women to fill
his need. Trump will continue to use hate and racism, because
he believes it will get him reelected. Hopefully it  doesn't lead
to racial violence. If it does, Trump would likely try to blame
the democrats. Or worse people of color.

Trump first started his campaign with  racial statements about
immigrants crossing our southern boarder. Trump has a history
of not liking people of color. Only one of many types of people
he sees as inferior.  A short list includes, Women, Blacks, or
anyone of color, yes even  Jews, gays, the poor, or anyone who  isn't
rich. He would turn his back on most of his  supporters if he
didn't know who they were. How many times has he shook
hands with people he didn't know personally? When he arrives
at a rally, he appears on stage, then leaves the same way. If
he personally greets any supporters its few if any at all.

Trump is a cowered who fears strangers, and has spent most
of his life with body guards. It's too bad his supporters don't
really know what he thinks of them. All they have to do is listen
to how he talks about the democrat's, and that is what he thinks
of most Americans, including his supporters privately.

I am sure his supporters would never believe it, but I am afraid
one day they will have reason to hate the name Trump.

The far right fears diversity in our country. People who won't follow
their racists way of thinking. So they are doing everything they can to
slow immigration. People who think this way aren't new, they have
been around since the founding of the country. They are hiding in
waiting for a chance to come out and oppose any new group of
immigrants. They use skin color, religion or most anything else as an
excuse to  deny them into our country. It has happened several times
in the past. These people fear change, even if it's good for them.

Change will come, even with the far right opposing it. Hopefully without
major violence. Only time will tell.

Trump is trying to say the people at the rally decided to chant, but
he encouraged it with his tweets over the past several days. His
supporters didn't dream it up on their own, and he knows it.

Trump said he tried to  stop the chant, but continued to  bad mouth
Omar after waiting for the chant to die down. Trump is likely planning
to say "Love it or leave it." as a major part of his campaign. A
patriotic chant from the days of the VietNam war.

Trump claims he doesn't want war with Iran, so why did he hired
the same people who talked president Bush into starting a war
with Iraq. A war Trump used to bad mouth the younger Bush
during his campaign.

I think Trump feels he can use patriotism to get a large
percentage of his base out to vote. Depending on how he
uses it, it could back fire on him. I don't think most people
associate racism with patriotism. So the more he bad mouths
groups of people it could move people away from him.
Perhaps not to vote for democrats, but to stay home.

I really don't think Trump wants a hot war with Iran, but if
he continues letting the war hawks he hired mislead him
we could be in one soon. Trump needs to understand Iran is
not the same as North Korea. They could care less about
being seen shaking his hand. Obama gave Iran a path to
help the  middle east be a better place. Yes they are doing
things that are bad now, but  the people are pushing for
moderation over the extremism of their religious leader.
Trumps sanctions are only giving the extremists more power.

The democrats have another debate scheduled on CNN next
week. It will be interesting to see how the candidates do during
this  second debate. Biden is still holding a strong lead, but
most of his support is center with the black  vote. He must
gain a broader support if he is going to  win against Trump.
Otherwise a better candidate is needed. It's still early, the first
primary is still almost 6 months away.

Next week Mueller will testify in a house hearing about his
report on Trump and his actions shown in his  report. I am
sure the GOP members will try to make a joke of it. So the
democrats must work together to help Mueller tell the renal
story of Trumps ill eagle activity, and not the misleading
report of Trumps attorney general claiming Trumps
innocence.

It seems Trumps circle of friends include some pedophiles.
Now this isn't proof that Trump is guilty of such activities,
but it's very likely he was aware of their sexual preferences.
I have been around long enough to know that generally
friends talk about sexual preferences. Not always of course.
It really doesn't surprise me that the super rich feel they
can get by with most anything they want, and the video
where Trump talked about how he treated women shows
he is much the same way.

I really don't care what Trump does in private as long as
it's with consent of his friends, and legal. But these
evangelical preachers ought to be ashamed of supporting
a man like Trump. If they are worried about the unborn
and Gays, the Vice president would fill that bill just as
easy as Trump, and would make a better president.

I am sure most of us know the GOP works to protect
businesses, and the people who own and or run them.
Their excuse for this is they wish to protect jobs and
the economy. Also to stand up for capitalism
and the free market which is the cornerstone of
business in our country.

Now as an retired businessman, I fully understand
that jobs and the economy does depend on business,
but the general public has to be protected from
people who use business to steal, and take advantage
of people with sales and those who work for
them. Also to prevent damage to our environment
by those in the pursuit of profit.

The problem is the GOP not having the support
of the majority of voters, have a habit of
misleading the public to gain votes. prior
to television the cost of running for political
office wasn't a great expense, but as
time has passed the cost has grown to the
point that a politician has to spend a great
deal of time raising money to make a
successful run for office.

This has led to reaching out to the rich
who can give a great deal of money. The
problem is when rich people give a lot
of money, they expect those who they
support to give something back. Usually
fewer regulations that affect businesses
and their bottom line.

Over time this hurts the public, and
our environment. Supporters also
want lower taxes which lead to
deficit spending for the government.
So the GOP claims they must
cut social programs to cover the
tax cuts for the rich. If you ask a
GOP member of congress he/she
will try to blame the other party
instead of telling
the real truth.

It's sad,  but a lot of people fall for
the misleading stories that the GOP
feed their voters. Partly due to
people believing people who have
money must be smart, but in many
cases, unfortunately they are just
dishonest.

This is how Trump is, people look at a
man with a ton of money and think he
must be a great business man. Also because
they saw him play one on TV. Trumps
success isn't due to being smart, but due
to  having a very rich father. Otherwise
he would be lucky to even have one business,
and deep in debt.

The GOP works for the drug industry, getting
millions in support for reelection. Because the
drug industry doesn't want any price
regulations. They had congress create  laws
limiting competition to benefit them. So they
can set prices as high as they wish. During
the 1970's Generic drugs hit the market.
This helped keep  prices down, but eventually
they realized they could raise prices on generics
too. Even in some cases they became higher
than name brand drugs. So the drug
industry just raised the price of name
brand drugs higher to hide it.

The founders of many of the drug companies
wanted to help people have a healthy life and
didn't worry about getting rich, but over the
years people who could care less about peoples
health have taken the companies over, and now
it's just profit and nothing else.

Trump is working to deregulate at any cost.
Even to decimate agencies like the FDA. An
agency that helps insure save foods for us all.

Also to destroy the environmental agency,
so the government can't protect the quality
of our air and water. All in the name of profit.

This is just two cases, yet people in the
GOP refuse to believe Trump is hurting
anyone. By the time they start suffering
the GOP will try to pass the blame to the
democrats. I just hope unless the GOP
wakes up, they cease to exist as a
power in this cntry.

Is Trump defying his aids and the GOP with his racist remarks
about 4 women congress members? It appears so as Trump continues
to bad mouth them, and claims they are the face of the democrats.
Even with his racist remarks support in the GOP polls went up a bit. So
we can likely expect more of it from Trump.

It's more proof the GOP is no longer the party of Reagan or Lincoln.
It has become a cult of Trump. His supporters want him, even
though he lies, and breaks laws, they like how he stands up
against government norms.  Trump talks the same way  many
people think about government. Down deep many people
don't like favors given to minorities, the poor, immigrants or
homosexuals. They apparently look to Trump, thinking only
he, will work to stop all things they don't like about the
government.

People may not want to admit it, but the movement  in
Germany, Hitler started in the 1930's was based on the
very same thing. He used racism, and hatred of minorities
claiming they were taking jobs, and  unfit of living in the
country, and yes, only the white arian race who is supreme,
should. just as Trump claims only white people love the country,
and more people of color is destructive to our country.

In both cases it's based on fear of change. Several
times white America has stood against immigration.
Mainly the Irish, Italians, and the Jews. The black race
coming here as slaves apparently didn't count as
immigrants,  yet Trump supporters want them to
go home to Africa. The problem is most blacks have
a longer American heritage than most white
people do.

Trump may want to blame the countries problems on
immigrants,  but we need them. It's the diversity they
create that makes our country great, Not Trumps racist
claimes.

This coming wens day Mueller will testify at a house
hearing. To explain his report about president Trump
and his activities in is report. Trumps attorney general
claimed it showed no wrong  doing by Trump, but it
showed just the  opposite. The report showed many cases
where Trump is guilty of breaking the law, but as president
Trump can't be charged. So Mueller expects congress to
deal  with it.

The GOP and Trump will continue to call the democrats a
bunch of socialists who will destroy the country with
communist ideas. They hope this will scare the public
into voting for the GOP. You can see this in how they are
talking about the 4 women congress members. Claiming
they want to  turn the US into a socialist country. Well we
already are a socialist country in that tax payers support
public programs. The VA is one of the biggest.

Socialism we mainly need to worry about  is government
ownership of common businesses that works against free
enterprise. not  social programs that help the poor and
disadvantaged. Also to have regulations to prevent
improper business practices.

The Trump administration is calling Iran's claim of catching
17 CIA agents a lie. Well since the Trump administration lies
all the time, who can we believe? Hopefully it's a scam. Generally
the US government never admits anything about spy's. So they
would be on their own. Especially Iranians working for the CIA.

The news media is trying to predict democrat leaders for the
nomination to run for president. I kind of wish they wouldn't
try to make predictions. I think the do more  harm than good
by confusing the public. During the last debate, they asked
the candidates if they supported health care for immigrants.
This just helped the GOP, by giving them a talking point,
because GOP  supporters and others feel this is unfair to US
citizens who must pay for  health care. They forget allowing
the sick to  go untreated, can spread diseases. Or just don't
care.

Trump is apparently freaking out as Mueller is about to
testify before congress. Even tweeting that Mueller should
not be allowed to appear at the hearing. Just what is
Trump so afraid of. He has said time and time again Mueller
showed him to be innocent. So why fear his testimony? Of
course if Trump has been telling lies, and told his Attorney
General to lie, and others he can fire if they aren't totally
loyal to lie. He might have something to worry about.

I think Trump is afraid when the public see's someone other
than the press testifying wrong doings by him, they might
start believing it. He has worked hard to create the belief
among his supporters that all news that isn't good for him is
fake. Unfortunately many of them take Trumps word on this.

When Trump ran for president, he never expected to win. He was
only wanting to spread his name, here and abroad. Why? Because
he needs money. He claims to be a multi billionaire, but there is
evidence he isn't nearly as rich as he claims, and owes hundreds of millions in loans to foreign banks. As president he is making tens of millions from other countries, and from rich people who wish
to cozy up to him. He will likely make a quarter of a billion dollars
during his 4 years in office, and perhaps more. Another 4 years
could net him even more than that. So it's no wonder he is working
so hard to win. He cares little for the country, other than how much
money he can gain from the job.

When leaders like Trump use corruption to gain money or power, it
causes them to fight to retain power, because good honest people
know corruption when they see it, and will work to unseat any bad
leader, and even to imprison the guilty. In other countries
corrupt leaders will often try to use their military to keep power.
I hope Trump doesn't try to do the same. I hope those in the
military would oppose any such action by Trump.

Trump needs voters from the far right, so he will promise them
all they want. So they apparently see him as their savior, and
will hang onto him as long as they can. They should remember
getting a wish, is not as good as it appears to be, The future
they might win, could bite them in the end. History has shown,
tyranny, no matter who spreads it often lose. Just as they
did during our civil war, and the french revolution.

How far will Iran be allowed to defy the world? Will Britain
send more naval ships to the middle east to protect their
shipping? Will Trump do the same? Then will Iran attack
warships, or not? Seems we are heading toward the brink
of war. If Iran continue to block oil shipments, world
economies will slow. Already a shipload of corn in
Brazil can't leave port due to a lack of fuel.

How many ships will be stuck in port, before the world
economy is affected, and even cause food shortages. I
think Iran is betting holding the world hostage, will
be a win for them. If Trump had not pulled out of the
agreement Obama made along with several other world
countries with Iran, we would not be facing this problem.

Trump has made many poor decisions, because of his hate
for president Obama. He apparently feels he must do away
with everything Obama did during his presidency. No matter
who or what it hurts.

During the Mueller hearing, it's obvious that the GOP members
were trying to discredit Mueller, and detract from what the
hearing is about. "The special report." Some of the GOP
members are downright rude to Mueller to look helpful to
their boss  Trump. and his supporters.

The report shows multiple actions of coverup and working with
the Russians by president Trump. Yet the GOP continued to speak
of investigations that Mueller wasn't involved with. One member from Florida just ran off at the mouth instead of asking questions. Some
GOP members ask why not all those who lied  weren't indicted.
Knowing some traded information to be excused.

Admittedly some of the democrats were trying to embellish the
report to some degree, but not misrepresenting it. One GOP
member asked if Trump could be charged after leaving office, and
Mueller said "Yes". I don't think that member expected that
response. I am sure Trump squirmed when he heard that.
Because it shows Mueller considers Trump guilty, and should be
indicted for criminal actions.

I am sure Fox News and other conservative outlets will try to
paint the hearing as an unsuccessful attack on Trump, and how
the GOP members did their best to help Trump by discrediting
Mueller and his team.

I imagine Trump will be tweeting overtime about this hearing and
how terrible it was for him and the country. Trump has and will
continue to lie for his own benefit. His lies total well over
10,000 since taking office.

Trump and his administration lie about how people and their
children are treated at our southern boarder. Even US citizens
have been held in detention centers for weeks, because they
have Spanish names, with darker skin color. Trump seems to
think mistreatment of Latins will help his reelection. Though
it may not. Most people despise his treatment of small children
at our boarder. Putting them in cages with only a concrete floor
to sleep on. With little good food or sanitation.

I hope the American public is able to see how the report
shows Trump to be guilty of crimes against our government and
our democratic system for his own benefit. Even though the
GOP did their best to convince them otherwise.

It's a hoax claims president Trump. Well I certainly didn't expect
him to admit to his crimes. So Trump clings to the GOP, who claims
the report is tainted, with people who hate him, and even the
GOP. Of course the GOP want us to forget how much they bad mouthed
Trump during the primaries of 2016. To hear them Trump was a fool
who had no idea how to run the country, and that is just a few of
the remarks they made about him. Even Russia's Putin called Trump
a clown until he was nominated.

The GOP leader of the Senate killed a bill that would help protect
the country against attacks on our election process by foreign
countries. GOP members claimed the bill would put federal controls
on states, and their elections. Controls that would keep the GOP
from limiting votes, and attacks on minorities rights to vote. With
only about 30% of the voting public in their party, the GOP fears
minority voting  that usually goes for the democrats.

Now with a party that is even farther to the right, they will
need every independent vote they can get. Even if they have
to cheat to keep others from voting. A few years ago the GOP
hired security officers to stand outside a voting center, to
intimidate minorities, to keep them from voting. The supreme
court at the time punished the GOP for this. So the GOP worked
to get the supreme court to soften the voting rights act. They
got the court to also allow corporations to donate millions in dark
money to benefit political parties. This gives the GOP an advantage
as many of their supporters are very rich.

If the Democrats don't start fighting back they will find it hard to
oppose the GOP for anything. It's time they stop being nice, and
jump on the GOP for their dirty tricks. The problem is many in the
GOP are willing to work hard for what they believe. Where many
Democrats just sit back and let the  politicians have their way.
The GOP has depended for many years on the silent majority not
getting out and voting. Then when President Reagan won with
coat tails that carried the GOP to victory in congress for the first
time in years, the GOP started  playing hardball, and  sucking up
to  the rich to help them with tax  cuts and fewer regulations.

This began the slow decline of the Middle class. Also services by
the government that used to be free changed by charging
fees for federal parks and many other things the public used.
I have heard reports the Trump administrations wants to ad charges
for even more government services. Government weather reports for
one. This is how business men like Trump and the GOP think. Make
people pay for everything. Unless they are a GOP member in government.
Then the government pays them. The Democrats are far from being
perfect, but they do little to harm our country, in the persuit of money.

If Trump wins in 2020 he and his friends in the GOP will continue to
reduce government services, no matter who it hurts.  Trump  has been
giving billions to commercial  farming so his  tariffs won't hurt so much.
What isn't being told is some of them are owned by foreigners who gain
millions with Trumps subsidies. We should be helping American farmers
not foreign ones.

Joe Biden is still well ahead of other candidates for president in the
democratic party. People of color appear to be giving him most of
his support over his competition.

Several candidates met with the NAACP, even the one GOP candidate
running against Trump. He was well received along with the democratic
candidates.

Even though voting security is in desperate need of protection, the
GOP leader of the senate refused to authorize monies to help with
cyber security across the nation. He used the excuse that it was only
the democrats wanting to prevent others from helping the GOP win.
Like Russia, China, or the computer geek down the street.

I am sure most in the GOP don't want to think other countries
are affecting voting, but the GOP leaders seem to think all things
are fair, as long as it helps them win. Well they should remember
this kind of attack can work both ways. Reports are that Iran is
working to affect our 2020 election as well as Russia, perhaps
other countries too. If we are lucky, maybe they will all
cancel each other out. But we can't depend on that.

All things tied to voting should not be accessible online, but
software companies promise security and keep their programs
tied to them, so they can make millions on updates. Like other
big businesses they care more about their bottom line than
our country. It wouldn't be so bad if they truly  worked to
secure the systems they promise to protect.

Most of the problem is Trump not pushing for voter security, other
than keeping minorities from voting. If he wants people to believe
he was elected by the people, and not through involvement by
others. Then he should support cyber security.

The news media wasn't giving Mueller high marks since his hesitant
way of speaking made him look uncertain of the facts. Perhaps not,
but the public watching the hearings should have learned that
Trump, and the GOP has been misleading them. It showed Trump
was found trying to  cover up his attempts to stop legitimate
investigations by the FBI, and the special counsel.

The speaker of the house still doesn't feel there is enough support
for the impeachment of Trump, and wants to continue investigations
with the help of the courts. Many in the  party want to move
forward,  but the speaker feels the best way to rid the country
of Trump is with the 2020 election. I would like to believe even
though the GOP controlled senate would not remove Trump,
by supporting Trump who is apparently guilty of crimes, could
cost them their reelection to the senate.

Trumps supporters were told during the 2016 primaries that
he is nothing but a con artist. Even though we all  know what
a con artist is, people ignored it. So now we have a president
who is no different than the person who calls your phone
and tries to con you out of your identity and money.

As president he continues to con his supporters into thinking
only he will protect the country from those who will destroy it.
If your a conservative who is afraid people of color and gays
will take over the country. You should be more afraid of Trump
and the GOP leadership. They are wanting to  turn this countries
government into  an authoritarian system, much as it is in Russia
and China.

The reason people of power like authoritarianism is because
they don't have to ask the people for anything. They just pass laws
and regulations to benefit themselves. Then if you try to speak out
against them, they will put you in prison. If you have a lot of
support they will have you killed, and point their finger as some
one else.

Trumps attorney General is pushing to have the death penalty
restored, so the federal government can put people to death
again. Will they make sure the guilty will be killed, or will
it just be for political gain, as some small time prosecutors
do trying to get reelected.

Trump claims he is building his wall, but all that is being done
is replacing barriers that need  repair.  It will take years to
build even a small amount of new wall. Every mile will have
court fights with land owners that will take years to conclude.
If you doubt that, only now after 10 years has the building of a
small section of wall been done, and Trump had nothing to
do with it.

Trump and the GOP want people to think they are responsible
for the economy. This is a lie, because they have done little
to make jobs, or even to keep jobs in the country. Trumps
continues to make his empty promises while hiring people
in the far eat to manufacture products for him to sell.

The president is for all the people, not just those who voted for
him or her. Yet Trump thinks he only has to give lip service to
those who support him. I hope they finally realize that Trump
considers them fools at his command.

So be a pawn, because if you continue to  support Trump and
the GOP leadership, you will loose your right to speak out, your
right to  own a gun, and any other right that the authoritarians
have reason to  fear.  You might even want to convince yourself
that you as a conservative will be safe, perhaps, but it will only
take someone who has a grudge against you and your screwed,
because due process rights will be gone. They only need to
accuse you of being against the government and your
done, on both sides.

Another bad thing about authoritarianism is it's a dog eat
dog system. Much the same as a criminal organization with
hit squads fighting for control. You will never be safe, even in
your own home.

We can thank the democrats for trying to stop the destruction
of our system of government, and the protection of our constitution.
But it will be a hard fight since Trump and the GOP control much
of the government. They must fight hard, and use tough tactics or
they, and we the people will loose.

Impeachment is a process, and should be pursued to help the
public learn the truth about Trump, and his people, who only
want to enrich themselves at the  cost of our country. They can
walk away, while the rest of us are left to suffer with whats left.

The democrats in congress are saying they are doing impeachment
investigations. So they can gain access to grand jury data. They
do not plan to vote for impeachment unless the public shows they
want Trump removed. So far the senate could not come up with 20
republican senators to vote Trump out other wise. Even if they did
I doubt if the senate leader would stand still for it.

Trump  is claiming cities with poor and people of color, are infested
with rats, and  roaches. While his Florida resort was cited with 78
violations by the local health department, for infestations over
the past 3 years. Trump wants people to think he cares about
people, but he invited homeless people into his apartment
buildings hoping they would drive out his poor, and elderly
tenants. Because he wanted to turn them into
high priced condominiums.

Trump promised to drain the swamp in Washington DC, but he has
done nothing but make it deeper. Lobbyist practically fight their way
to see Trump. A man who will sell America for the right amount of money.
Think not? Trump has sold government lands in the west for mining,
continental coastal waters, here and in Alaska to big oil. We will loose
most if not all pristine forests and lands if Trump stays in office.

Trump wants to run the government as if it was a business. In a
business the CEO is a dictator. He/she runs everything. This is why
Trump went bankrupt 4 times. He doesn't know how to run a
business that makes money. He keeps taking money out of the cash
box to spend it for adult toys, and women. If it wasn't for his fathers
money, and the TV show "The apprentice", he would have been
broke, and deep in  debt.

A business man  should never be the head of any government.
They don't have the right mindset for it. They want to run everything,
where a government depends on decisions made by many people.

Trump removed his head of the intelligence agency. Why?
Because he wants loyalty more than anything else from his
nominees. Not loyalty for the country, but Trump. The
current one was guilty of telling Trump the facts, and not
nonsense to make him feel good.  So Trump nominates a man
who has no experience in intelligence, but brags on Trump
at every turn. Since the Senate is filled with GOP puppets of
Trump they will likely vote for him. Because they care more
about staying in office than they do the country.

This has been Trumps way all his life. He only likes people who
give him praise. So he has nominated those who brag on him
with promises to be loyal, instead of capable people who can do
a good job for our country.

It was unfortunate, but in 2016 more democratic senators were
up for reelection by far than those of the GOP. So it's no wonder
why they held the senate. In 2020 however it's turned around
with 20 GOP senators who are up for reelection. So there is a
good chance the democrats could take back the senate. If Trump
can be removed as well, much of the damage caused by the GOP
and Trump, could be reversed.

This is another reason why we need term limits, as is people who are
harmful to the country, but are able to con voters into  voting for them
time after time, can stay in office for many years. This is why the
president is limited to  two terms. It's too bad  limits weren't put
on congress, and the senate as well.  It's time we kick the con
artists out, and have new ideas with new people.

I fear if Trump is reelected, he will push to be allowed to have
as many terms as he can be elected to. Because he wants to
have the same power and money as the leaders of China
and Russia.

Will people of color and others come out in record numbers
to vote in 2020?. To remove Trump and his hateful divisive
rhetoric, so he can be put in jail where he belongs. Only
time will tell, but perhaps if Trump continues to run down
people of color, women, the LGBT and others, he will help
us do the job. Perhaps he will shove his foot so far into
his mouth, his supporters won't be able to pull it out.

I think Trump hopes the people held in disgusting pens
at the border will riot. So he can just pack them all up
and remove them from the country. I know his supporters
think Trump is doing a good thing by removing undocumented
aliens from our country, but many jobs they do will go wanting,
and many businesses will suffer without them and the money
they spend.

If Trump and the GOP wanted to slow or stop  illegal immigration,
they only need to penalize, and fine businesses for hiring them. The
dirty secret is the GOP doesn't want to, because many businesses
depend on them for jobs many Americans refuse to do. Also they
will work for low pay with few if any benefits.

This is why Trump likes to hire foreign workers and immigrants to
work in his resorts. When this was found out, Trump fired them
even after their years of good work. Just shows Trump only hires
Americans when he has to.

Trump continues to play the racist game. I think he is following the
example of David Duke who tried to convince voters  his political
opponent was against  not only him, but anyone who felt minorities
had a free lunch.

His opponent defeated David Duke by pointing out what kind of man
Duke was, instead of just calling him a racist. I think this would be
the best way to defeat Trump. Point out his history, and the failures
of his presidency. Otherwise Trump will try to say the democrats are
against him and his supporters as Duke did.

Trump has failed at most everything he promised. Jobs are continuing to
leave the country. Factories are closing. Trump brags about the stock
market which most Americans don't have the money to play in. Yes
the economy is doing well for people who have money, but poor whites,
and minorities, it's not doing all that well.

Sure most Americans have jobs, but many are at a wage that won't
pay all their necessary expenses. Even with multiple jobs. Trump will
try to blame the Democrats, but they should point out Trump and the GOP
have no plans to compromise. Trump agrees to a deal, then turns
around, and breaks it. Because conservative media claims Trump
isn't standing up to the democrats enough.

The public must understand that Trump is selling out the country to
enrich his self and his rich friends. If he is reelected, this will continue
and our country will  suffer for it. Along with our children.

The second debate for the democrats running
for the office of president was on last night.
The first of two 10 person debates. It was
largely about policy to make sure the people
of this country have good health care without
driving them into bankruptcy. Universal health
care has been a long battle to protect the big
insurance corporations, and drug industry, by
the GOP.

It is true we need to avoid socialist plans, but
many businesses, when they grow large put
profit above public need.

When health insurance was first created, it was by a
group of people who wanted to help people with health
costs they couldn't afford. Not to make themselves rich.
Of  course when rich men saw that  there was money
to be made providing health coverage, they started
companies that in the beginning provided plans
people could afford. Once established prices were
increased. Now their profits are in the billions, with
no concern for the public.

The GOP leader of the senate Mitch O'Connell  is
working with Trump to block legislation coming
from the democrat controlled house. Not just
partisan legislation, but legislation to protect
our system of government. Because Trump wants
foreign governments to be allowed to help him
and the GOP to  win in 2020. Many of the bills
coming from the house the GOP oppose, is to
raise the minimum wage, lower drug costs,
and other things to help with public needs.

The GOP and Trump are wanting to convince
the public that democrats are socialist who will
wreck the economy. Odd thing though, every
time the GOP gains control the we have large
deficit, and when the democrats take it we don't.

We should remember that when Obama won the
presidency our economy was in bad shape, following
a republican president. Then grew every years Obama
was in office. He turned a strong economy over to
Trump. A man who has done little to  do anything, but
fill the pockets of himself and the richest Americans.

Trump ran claiming he would put the best people
in his cabinet, but so far those in he has hired
are corrupt people out to enrich them selves. Not
to make America great as Trump wants to claim.

I really believe most republicans care about the
environment, and costs of living. They are just
caught up in the Cult of Trump. Hopefully they will
come to realize what Trump is, a con artist who only
cares about him self. Any good he does for the
country will only be by accident.

Trump loves Saudi Arabia, because they spend huge
sums of money with him and his family. This is
why he blocks any legislation that goes against
his Saudi friends.

The other day Trump had a signing ceremony in
the rose garden of the White House, for a bill
that would guarantee funding for the first
respondents on 911 attack on the twin towers
in New York. During his monotone speech he
made believe he cared about them, and the
problems they had. Though he did nothing to
get the aid passed through congress. He even
lied saying he was there after the attack in
support, but no one applauded as the first
respondents there knew it was a lie. Just more
lies Trump hopes will get him more votes.

The Trump administration is now claiming they
want to work with Canada so people can order
drugs from there, to lower their costs for
drugs. We shouldn't be surprised that this
will take 2 or 3 years to implement. That is
if Trump is reelected. I am sure if Trump was
to win this plan would disappear, or declared
unworkable.

We should remember the GOP candidates running
for office in 2018, promised they were for
coverage of preexisting health problems, but
they never mentioned any price controls while
they were trying to get rid of Obama care
which give coverage for preexisting conditions
at no extra cost. I can guarantee any plan
for preexisting conditions set by private
insurance would be thousands per month.

Trump still claims China is suffering a lot because
of his tariffs, but reports are showing China's economy
though down a bit is still better than ours by a factor of
two. Over 6 percent while ours is a bit over 3 percent for
the last quarter.

Welcome to the 2019 Furtopian Debate, folks. Our first speaker tonight is a well known and long standing member of Furtopia, Mr. Kobuk D. Husky. Tonight, he will give his views to our audience as well as fursons everywhere about various political issues in this country that are of concern to fursons of every species, color, size, etc.

Mr. Kobuk, tonight's topics are the following: Health Care, Gun Control, Immigration, and Climate Crisis. You'll have 5 minutes per topic to express your views and what you propose to do on those issues if elected President. You may begin whenever you're ready.

A sharp dressed husky behind the podium looks out at the audience before him, then clears his throat to begin speaking.

Health Care:
"For too long, people have watched as health care costs in America have skyrocketed. They are constantly fed up with higher prescription prices, higher copays, higher, out of pocket expenses, and so much more. There is a solution to the health care crisis in America and it starts at the most basic lowest level. When I look around at all the people here and everywhere else, my question to you is "What are YOU doing to lower costs and improve health care?".
If people want better health care, it's not necessarily the pills, doctors, surgeries, etc. that will make them better. Yes, these things will help. But it ultimately falls to yourself to take care of your own body at the most basic level if you want to stay healthy. It's your body and your health. Therefore, it's YOUR responsibility to take care of it. Not somebody else. Now granted, there are people with various disabilities, diseases, and other severe conditions who cannot properly take care of themselves for whatever reason. This I understand. But for the rest of the populace who is "out and about", the more you take care of yourself by eating healthier, getting regular exercise, proper amounts of sleep, etc., the healthier and better you'll be. And the more you take care of yourself, the less you'll have to rely of doctors, pills, etc. to take care of you. Yes, you'll still need to go to regular yearly routine eye exams, dental checkups, and so forth. But the more YOU take care of yourself, the less you'll have to rely on doctors, prescriptions, etc. which means more costs. All those doctor visits and prescriptions add up over time. Think of the money you could save if you ate healthier, exercised reguarly more, etc. and didn't have to go to a doctor all the time. Think of it this way. Who's going to be in better health or who's going to have more expenses: The person who brushes and flosses his teeth 2x a day and takes proper care of his mouth? Or the person who rarely brushes, doesn't floss, and hardly sees a dentist?
In conclusion, if we want better health care in America, then we need look no further than our own selves. Don't believe me? Then go look in a mirror sometime. At the most basic level, WE need to start taking better care of our own bodies,.

GUN CONTROL
"We don't need more common sense gun laws in America. What we need is people to have more COMMON SENSE when owning and using a gun. Yes, I do support people to have and use a gun per the 2nd Amendment in the Constitution. But I want them to have and use a gun SAFELY and  RESPONSIBLY. But I will also say that I do agree with my fellow political candidates in that I would ban assault weapons, large magazines, and bump stocks. I also agree with having universal background checks and having some form of Federal license to own and use a gun. Having and using a gun shouldn't just be a right, it should also be a privledge. Owning and using a vehicle is not a right. It's a privledge. Something you have to earn. A gun should be held to a similar standard. If you want to own and use a gun, then show that you can safely and responsibly use it. Require people to have a license for a gun just like they have a license for a car. Have mandatory training classes for owning and using a gun in order to get a license. And if elected, I will set up a program to add more training facilities, more educational programs, etc. to help train people to safely and responsibly use guns.

IMMIGRATION
"What exactly is a wall going to do? How exactly is it going to keep illegal immigrants out? Hate to say it, but it won't. I'm not opposed to spending money to fix or replace broken sections of wall. But if any of my political opponents want to build a 100% completely brand new shiny wall from scratch, then they've got a political fight on their hands. Walls aren't going to completely stop illegal immigrants. They will always find some other means of getting into a country. What I would do is increase funding for more border patrol personnel, more security cameras and other measures, and increase more spending for the DEA, Coast Guard, and other selected agencies. I would also end child seperations at the border as I am totally against that. Children need to be with their parents. I would also increase funding and materials for border processing facilities, and hire more immigration judges to hear more cases.
But if we want to stop or at least slow down the flow of illegal immigrants, we need to start at the source. We need to somehow change or put pressure on the countries where illegal immigrants are coming from. You hear all the time how illegal immigrants are coming to America because conditions in their own countries are so bad. Things like corrupt government, drugs, poor housing, no jobs, etc. What we need to do is somehow put pressure on those governments to change their ways and to start helping their people. Therefore, I would try to find ways to improve relations with those countries and try to get conditions changed in those countries.

CLIMATE CRISIS
"Everything in life changes. The Earth is no exception. Whether the climate changes that the Earth is experiencing are man made or naturally occuring is unknown. So many scientific reports are conflicted on this. But one thing is for certain: These climate changes are happening. Polar ice is melting. Summers are getting hotter. Hurricanes are getting more intense. And the list goes and and on. And if we do nothing to abate these climate changes, then every species, including the human species, will surely suffer and die. We can't just sit back and watch as the world unfolds around us. This planet is the only one we've got. Shouldn't we at least take better care of it? There's nowhere else to go. It'll be at least decades or even centuries before we can travel to other planets and colonize them. The world is running out of resources. The oceans are filling with plastic. And countless animal and plant species are becoming extinct. This has to end. Here, and now. If elected, I would increase more programs for renewable energy sources, especially solar and wind. I would also increase more programs devoted to recycling and reusing various materials. Coal and soon oil are dinosaurs of a bygone age. The future is for more "greener" and renewable sources of energy. But some political opponents don't see it that way for they want to take a step back rather than going forward. They're not willing to take risks to save this planet. I am. Everything moves forward at some point. Not backward. Horse drawn buggies -> Cars. Typewriters -> Computers. Pay phone booths -> Cellphones.

Thank You Mr. Kobuk for your answers to various political issues. I'm afraid your time is now up.
