Christmas Decorations Thread
« on: December 04, 2011, 05:39:47 am »
Exactly what the thread title sounds like.  It's about that time of year for Christmas decorations to start going up both in your own house and the neighborhood.  I'd be interested in seeing whatever you or your neighbors put up.

As for my family,  we haven't done anything yet... Usually we put it all up the day after thanksgiving.

I set buster (my brother's bird who lives in the living room) up tonight to act as the stand-in Christmas tree. We haven't put ours up yet and i needed a place to put Christmas gifts once i finished wrapping them in the meantime.

Oh... And i did it at 1am and didn't tell anyone. ;)

It is!  :D  A particularly disgruntled and irritable one.  Angry bird is always angry all the time.  >.>

Anywho,  That next morning,  the first thing i hear when i walked out of my room was,  "Point taken!"

The Christmas tree went up that night.

When we get a place of our own, one way or another I'm going to convince my mate to let me do something like THIS for Christmas. These kinds of light shows have been popping up all over youtube lately as more and more people are doing them. Both with Christmas and non Christmas songs. I must admit I love this house's show to Skrillex's First of the Year track. :D

Of course, lights are my hobby already if given the chance. There's a house in Green Bay that does this too, but haven't got a chance to see it yet. Going home tonight for Christmas, so maybe I'll get to check it out. No where near as intricate as the one I linked though
