Reason 1 why my professor is awesome.
« on: June 02, 2010, 03:32:22 pm »
My professor gave us a test (this is for calculus IV mind you) last week, and the question 11 was... well...

11. Write a short poem (About Calc IV).

So without further delay;

Today I found some trouble,
While finding the area of rubble,
I walked along C,
Left hand to the debris,
And found my integral was double.

(Anyone who gets it is a nerd!)

If I'm not mistaken, that looks like a poem on Green's Theorem.  Nice.

...It bugs me, though, that I can't seem to remember/figure out what a line integral for enclosed area would look like.  I'm not sure if there even is one.  Could you enlighten me on this?
