What about...
"He shattered his femur, and water was running low"
If that is too "directive" you do not have to use it.
It seems President Trump thinks we are all idiots when he claimed he
mis spoke "would for wouldn't" If he had really done so he would have
corrected it immediately not a day later. He tried to say he hadn't seen
the transcript of his remarks till the next day. I am absolutly sure he
was told most strongly on the plane ride home how  big his mistake

When he was on Fox news when he returned to Washington DC He could
have reversed his self at that time, not the next day. It's reported the
vice president and the secretary of state sat down with Trump and worked
out the excuse for Trump. Even when he read the prepared remarks he ad
libed that he stillfelt it could have been others instead of Russia.

The whole press conference by Trump was incoherent. While Putin
spoke to the point Trump just rambled from subject to subject.  He
didn't even answer some of the questions trying to shift the blame
to the democrats and H Clinton for the hacking.

There are reports that cheif of staff Kelly got on the phone and told
repbublicn they should tell Trump that he should clarify himself, apparently
hoping this would get Trump to  back up and change his comments not
supporting the United States over Russia. Even when Trump did it was
half hearted.

I think we all noticed how quick the GOP changed after Trumps so called
clarification.  They are starting to make excuses for Trump instead of
standing up for our country. The GOP cares more about holding power
than the United States of America.

Trump supporters say they like Trump because he is outspoken and is
strong for our country. Sure didn't sound that way last m onday. Trump
acted more like a whipped oup instead of a strong leader.  He evensaid
Putin strongly denied  hacking our election. Like he shouted Trump down
during their private meeting.

I first noticed this meakness in Trump during the news conference after
he met with the Mexican President. Trump is only strong when he feels he
is in control. Otherwise he is very weak. It's a fact he hasn't the nerve to
fire anyone personally, unless the person is a whimp. Sure he sounds
strong in his rallys where the room is full of supporters. Even then when
someone stands up to him he has his supporters toss them out. He is
afraid to debate them in fron of his supporters.

I really doubt that NATO can't depend on Trump if Russia invades any
member of NATO. They best start building up their own defenses.

The USA will be standing by it's self if congress fails to limit Trumps actions
over the next few years. I wonder if we will every find out why Trump
submits to Putin from the start of his campaign. Trump continues to claim
he has been very tough on Russia. More than any other president. This is
ridiculous, could it be Trump really believes it? If so we are in the hands
of a man who is loosing his mind.

Those in Russia look at Trump like he is a fool since the meeting with Putin..
Back turning Trumps campaign Putin remarked that Trump acts like a clown.
Trump at the time tried to say Putin was praising him.

So I'll begin by stating that I have full faith and support for America's great intelligence agencies. Always have.
^ What support? I sure as hell ain't seeing it from Trump.  >:(

And I have felt very strongly that, while Russia's actions had no impact at all on the outcome of the election, let me be totally clear in saying that -- and I've said this many times -- I accept our intelligence community's conclusion that Russia's meddling in the 2016 election took place. Could be other people also; there's a lot of people out there.

What an imbecile!  :D

Speaking of things being removed, one thing that seriously bothers me is when I'm browsing youtube and adding stuff to watch later, when I have time.
And then when I do get time to sit down and watch those videos, they're gone! And even worse I don't even recall what the name of the vid was or who made it or anything.
No clue why it's gone either. Perhaps it was pulled by youtube, perhaps the video maker themself pulled it. Whatever the case it's seriously aggravating.

I like to imagine Trump cowed down to Putin. He's used to running businesses and corporations and thinks he can run the US like it's a business, not realizing that the stakes are much much higher. If a national leader wants something done strong enough they send in the army
If Putin does another invasion like he did in the Ukraine I doubt very much Trump will step up and stop him.
Maybe it's cause they're working together or maybe it's cause Trump has no idea at all what to do when someone actually puts a loaded gun to his head and shouts demands.

The annoying orange thinks he can run the US like a business. He has no idea how real, genuine politics works. He's a businessman, he's not a politician, And I'll go even further to say he's a bad businessman who has tanked a number of things he's tried doing. Remember Trump University? Trump Airlines? Trump Steaks? How about Trump Vodka which he made to compete against Grey Goose Vodka but failed miserably because nobody wanted to drink it.

And those are just a few examples.
Now it's time for the country as a whole to bear the mark of failure as all those projects of his...

I  couldn't agree more Kay. Trump is a bad businessman and he is trying to  run
the country like a business.  Also he like many people with little knowledge of
politics thinks all problems can be fixed with the stroke of a pen.

Autocrats like Putin can lead people like Trump around by the nose. They know
how far they can go befor starting a serious conflitct. I think Trump is scared if
heseriously  confronts Putin he might start a nuclear war. It's not likely Putin
would wantto be the head of a country laying in ruin. Much less the cause of it.

Bullies like Putin will keep pushing if you don't stand up to them.

Blue and black markings on your panther Riley are great!  Moongaze is looking winsome, of course.  And I love the warm tones throughout the second image.  Your dinosaur is cute, yet dangerous, and im not sure which way to run  ;).  Great work Iara!
Maybe if I get my skills up, I will look into these Copic markers.   Hmm...

(Hey Iara, have you ever thought of doing dinosaur illustrations to teach kids or adults different species?  Since no flesh survives the petrification process, artists are the only ones who can show us what they looked like.  Where I live there are a few good dinosaur track formations, and each exhibit is accompied with an educational display.)

Thank you, Jade! Copics definitely seem to be my medium, as it were, I really loved markers as a kid and watercolors, too...these are a blend of both, which is really nice! If you can afford them, look into them!

Making illustrations for kids/displays/books is something I have considered. I worry that the industry itself isn't the best...tons of kids/dino books are out there...I hesitate, only because I am uncertain how my drawings will be received, and what kind of story I would make! Right now I am focusing on drawing for me (and my friends!) versus on a professional level...although I am taking commissions, right now I still view my work as that of catharsis versus lucrative. Maybe someone will prove me wrong! But until then I appreciate the compliment and I am glad you like my work. :3

Dino tracks are awesome! I have seen a few in person, they are amazing in the way they capture a window in time...

Awesome! :D

My family used to have a lot of dogs. A lot of dogs and many were kind of small, runty dogs but they were all very smart. One that we had, named "Dog" could even speak some words in english! Maybe it was because his parents were brother and sister :D I'm not joking they were. But Dog knew how to say some words. I'll never forget the first time we discovered it.
We were moving to a new trailer and had our dogs in little cages to move them around. They were cool and calm and relaxed all the way there but then we sat the sat the cage down that held Dog and Freeway (A cute little black mutt dog that looked identical to Toto from The Wizard of Oz, I swear to god)
Anyway mom and I were moving stuff in and Dog wanted out of the cage, I feel it's important to note we treat our dogs like people; like human beings wearing fur, and we talk to them as though they understand everything we say.

Mom and I looked and saw Dog scratching furiously at the cage, wanting out. Mom held a hand up and said "Hey, we'll let you out in a minute just wait."
Then it happened.
Dog let out this long whine, this shrill, high pitched whine and opened his mouth and in a strange mix of howling, whine and growling at once he let out this wail that sounded like scooby doo after taking a kick to get my meaning. The words were clear. "I want out."
or more like "Rye ruhun ow"

Mom and I heard him wail this repeatedly and we looked at each other like we'd seen a ghost.
"Did he just say he wants out?" My mother asked.
"I'm glad you heard it that way too." I replied.

Dog continued scraping his claws against the cage, desperately trying to dig his way through.
We stepped up.
"What did you say?" Mom asked.
Dog paused and looked at her, then ducked his head down and dug at the floor of the cage and once more wailed "Rye ruhun ow" with Freeway laying beside him like nothing was wrong.

What else could we do? We let him out. An animal screams in your own language what they want how can you refuse?

And Dog was able to speak a few other words. Whenever our big Border collie/lab mix dog Milo disturbed his sleeping Dog would get up, let out a series of growls and when we listened He'd say "Milo" within those growls. And only when Milo did it. If someone else bothered him we would't hear it. We tested it out by waking him up from naps and while he'd do the various low growls like someone grumbling under their breath he wouldn't say "Milo".

And as for Milo, he was very intelligent. My dad trained Milo to fetch his harness for walkies, his leash/lead, to hand dad the proper end with the clasp and also to fetch dad's mud boots (Wellies) for when it was muddy out.

Sorry this went on kinda long. I just have a massive love of how intelligent dogs can be when people treat them the same as people. Obviously you still have to maintain the pecking order of the pack, but you need to do that in human social groups as well so we're not that dissimilar from each other.

I really hate it on Facebook when I see or hear about posts that have been removed because somebody thought the subject matter was offensive or politically incorrect even though it wasn't for any reason whatsoever.
Case in point: I read about a guy who had posted his finished model of the probe droid from The Empire Strikes Back. But apparently, "somebody" found it offensive and reported it to the admin of a model group and had it taken down. The modeler who created the droid reposted again so everyone could see his work and asked why his original post was taken down. Nobody knows why the original post was removed.  :o When new pictures of the model were reposted, there was absolutely nothing offensive whatsoever about the model.

Is this some sort of new troll tactic appearing on FB? People getting their lulz and reporting stuff and having it removed when stuff shouldn't be?  >:(

One way or another, the Earth will be united eventually and there will come a time when we'll create or be a part of some sort of large alliance. ;)

As the old saying goes: Science fiction has a tendency of becoming science FACT.
