OK. after only leaving the dough to hydrate for an hour. Not much of a difference. I still had to kneed the dough to get it to the proper state. Bread turned out nice. Looks like an hour is not enough time to allow the proteins in the dough to develop enough to cut the time you have to kneed. It was fun. No harm done and I have bread for the week.

Sorry folks, I know it's been over a week. No I haven't stopped wanting to make bread. I geeked out last weekend. Spent hours upon hours of reading scientific studies and old documents. Documents from the 17 and 1800's. Just to find the answer to a question I had. So I not only didn't make any bread. But I ran out of bread on Friday. So yes. Today I'll be making lots of bread. I'm sticking with my go to recipe. Because i have it memorized.  :D Hey, it's good eats. So my experiment with the autolyse technique and hole milk will have to wait till next weekend.

What I will be doing today is a partial autolyse. Letting the dough sit completely mixed for an hour before I kneed it. It was stated on the bread forum by someone that this worked. Making it faster and easier to kneed the bread. By using the bread recipe I'm completely familiar with it will be easer to see how this will effect the outcome of the bread. I'm thinking of treating this first hour as the 'proofing' rise. The first rise before you divide the dough into loaves. This way I wont have to change the amount of yeast I use. I'll simply kneed, divide and then let the dough re rise a second time before baking. The amount of time the yeast will be in contact with the four starches will be the same.  I'll post and let you know how this worked out.

news forum / Re: Trump the GOP and Democrats. A new path or more of the same.

President Trump went to his resort after paying his type of
respect for the school shooting. Then at his resort he went
to a disco party. Heaven forbid should anything get in his
way of his enjoyment. Not even the deaths of 17 at a
school.

He tweeted saying the FBI should quit their russia investigation
and find people planning to shoot Americans. Well the section
of the FBI investigating him isn't responsible for finding shooters.
they are investigating those who work to tear down our country.

He also tweeted that Putin was probably laughing after the indictment
of Russia for election interference. It's likely heads are rolling after
this exposure instead.

Trump only makes himself look bad with his tweets. He should
throw his smart phone in a drawer and leave it there. He should be
getting advice before making any statements. Instead he things he
is so smart he can do it all on his own.

Some GOP supporters are saying that down ballot votes shows Russias
activities had no effect. Well people don't vote the party line as they
did in 50 years ago. I think the Russians mainly want to discourage the
American public from believing in the FBI and other law enforcement. To
disrupt our economy. To divide us as they know division makes us weaker.

Again I ask why does Trump support and protect Russia? Why does he
attack everyone who speaks against him but Putins Russia? What is the
power he has over almost everyone who spends time with him? Highly
respected people follow his lead soon after working for him. Does he
threaten to ruin them if they don't? Perhaps the truth will come out
eventually. Hopefully sooner than later.

Well, I can say I had a good time!  I am glad I went!  And I wouldn't have if it weren't for people here in Furtopia.

Peter Rabbit was a blast, and what would you know, sitting right behind me, three people (one of which was wearing bunny rabbit ears),  :orbunny: and they were older than I!
Ha!  If I had only known that it was going to be that way, I would have joined in on their fun!  As they left, one turned around and complimented me about my T-shirt, with an anthro-kangaroo on it.  We both suspected we were of the same mind set ... or of the same fur perhaps.  Too bad I didn't have time to stick around to talk more.

And as for Paddington 2, well, that was a good one indeed!  There is even a scene or two which contains what could loosely be considered a fursuit.
Everyone in the theater was laughing and being themselves.  I was also not the only odd ball there either!  There were many!
I was amazed, it seems you really can have fun, if you allow yourself to do so!

Never had that problem. By far most people think it's as normal as having a dog! And even when people think it's strange, they never care enough for it to bother them whilst watching. It's also only at kid's movies, if you're going to a movie rated 12+ all strangeness is just gone, animated or not. I don't know how big the cultural differences are between us, but where you live there should be a bunch of people who go to movies alone as well.

Also, no, you won't be arrested. People can call the police all they like, but they have something much better to do than check in on someone watching a children's movie in public. I'd highly question what the police is doing if they don't!
