When you show up at the vet's by mistake.
Looking to buy a new foreign made car? President Trump
is planning to add thousands in taxes on all new foreign cars
in the near future. Even though Trump may claim this is
to encourage the purchase of American made cars at home.
This is nothing more than a tariff on autos. So it will also
hurt American made car sales in other countries when they
add a similar tax to our cars as well. This will likely hurt
jobs in the automotive industry instead of helping them.
Tariffs do more harm than good in spite of what Trump
thinks. This is why we quit using tariffs 100 years ago.

president Trump is already in campaign mode. Not that
he hasn't been since he was elected in 2016. He has had
several rally's in the past 2 years. Not counting his mad
tweets. He claims he has to use twitter because the news
media lies about him. The truth is he uses twitter to tell lies
to his voters. Just as he does during his rallies.

President Trump says the special counsels reports should
be made public. It's likely Trump will reverse this the very
next day. He should be asked to put it in print and not just
say it. Trump has denied comments he said even when
it's on video. So it's not what he says, but what he does
that counts.

It is possible the new Attorney General has informed Trump
of the special counsels progress and what he the AG
will release.

President Trump has told the Democrats he would not give
them any papers or allow staff to give information during
hearings they may have to attend. He is doing this using
presidential privileged. I would say the war has been joined
as the Democrats in the house have the right to ask or
demand documents from the White House. So subpoenas
will follow. Then  it will be up to the courts and perhaps the
supreme court to decide.  It will be interesting to see if the
conservative supreme court follows the constitution or the
wants of the GOP.

Trump has been bad mouthing the husband of Kelly, one of
his favorite supporter. It's likely she supports Trump because
of the money he pays her and not his policies. I say this
because she was bad mouthing Trump during the 2016
campaign when she worked for Senator Ted Cruz.

New Zealand has made military style assault rifles illegal
for public use, or ownership. To me this is just a feel good
law as any semi automatic rifle with a large magazine can
do the same thing. The main problem is the availability of
high capacity magazines, not the rifle it's self. Laws to limit
magazine capacity would be fine, but it's doubtful it could
be enforced.

Hello and welcome!

I don't think we've had an Okapi on the forums before, that's really unique (and pretty cool, too). I look forward to seeing you around!

I remember one many many years ago.
