3 ft of snow and 20 degrees time to layer up

President Trump is planning a meeting with the North
Korean leader next month. One can only wonder what
Trumps love fest wiht him will brain about. If Trump pulls
the troops out of south Korea we won't be able to put them
back without the threat of war.

Then North Korea will try to use threats to begin control
of south korea. Trump claims North Koreea is obeying the
agreement he made with them, but they continue to
build bombs and missiles.

President Trump claims he will make his state of the union
address on the 29th, but the speaker cays he can't have it
int eh house till he opens the  government back up. So
where it will be is up in the air so to  speak.

It's cold, and snowing outside! The temperature has dipped down to -5 at night, and 0 during the day. You can ice-skate fairly safely after today. Unfortunately the snow won't last longer than a few days, because after that it'll start to get a few degrees warmer again.

Car wouldn't start today so the fist thing I 'bought' was a jump. Then a new battery. Didn't realize the battery I had was over 7 years old. Time flies when your having fun. :) Next thing I bought. Finally broke down and bought a set of Transtint dyes. Been wanting to make remakes of old ornaments for years. The only thing holding me back was the cost of lacquer tints.

President Trump and the VP stopped by the Martin Luther King
Memorial long enough to place a reef, then away they went with
not a word of praise.. I am sure Trump only went because he
wanted to be able to say he paid his respects to this great
American.  A  man we all should give respect to.

If I was a victim of the shutdown, I would likely be for ending it.
Perhaps at any cost, but it would be a mistake, because if Trump
wins this he will play this game to get anything he wants. And to
him it is a game.

His promise to protect the dreamers and others is only temporary and
not the fix it should be. If Trump was serious he would have offered
a permanent fix. Then the Democrats would have had something to
hang their hat on. As is it's just smoke and mirrors. A cruel ploy  by
a immoral  uncaring president.

The Democrats need to stand firm, caving in will only hurt us all.

When you are in the express check out line and you only have one item with you, and the person in front of you has WAY more then the "allowed" amount.
I try to be patient with such things, but when the person in front of you has many times over the amount and there are other lines (non-express) open, it can get bothersome.  >:(

16 to 20 inches of snow tonight into Sunday. And cold....really cold!
I'm jealous.

You can have the cold....might be a bit uncomfortable for a Malagator!
  :D

Much like Rocket we have a few inches here. It's been windy but has calmed down. Dropped to the single digits.

But no worries, it'll all melt by Thursday  :P

We got 18 inches between Saturday night into Sunday. Now it is bone chilling cold. -5 right now.
