OK folks! I'm calling this the RAT method of making bread. I like the autolyse method. But it takes some thought. And it's difficult to work in other ingredients. The Rat method takes a bit more time to make the bread. But a lot less work. If your just starting out you should make the same bread the traditional way a few times first. Get the idea of how the bread should feel when you have the right amount of dry to wet mixed.

How to make bread like a rat.

Start your bread dough the traditional way. Kneeing it to get the right consistency. Then form it into a ball and let it rest for five minutes. Kneed it again for a few minutes. Then form it into a ball and let it sit for ten minutes. Check to see how close you are to the window pain when you stretch a small wad out. Kneed for a few minutes. Then let the dough sit for five more minutes. Kneed for a few minutes and check. By now you should have window or near window pain. Once you get the dough right continue on with the traditional rise, divide and rise then bake.

Each time you go back to the dough it should feel different. Silkier and smoother with more elasticity to it. All that without kneading for ten to fifteen minutes straight.

Your first rise may take less time so keep an eye on your dough.  Because your yeast has had more time in the dough than it would have had if you did this the traditional way.

I tip my hat to the young people of this nation for standing
up to the GOP, NRA and the far right.

Hang in there kids, they are running scared.  If they weren't
they would be ignoring you.

The majority of the country is behind the kids, NOT the GOP
Trump and the NRA. NOT their far right racist plans. They even
invited a french extremist supporter of National socialism to
the CPAC  republican convention, and cheered. I wonder
how many knew they were cheering for a Nazi.

Don't listen to those who claim the government is out to take
your guns. If the government actually tried that there would
be another civil war. This message is a scare tactic to gain
public support. The CEO felt he had to tell his audience he
wasn't calling for an armed revolt. Did he think his speech
was so dark he had to say it? You can be sure he wouldn't
want anyone to think he did.

The president released the democrat memo after blacking out
the embarrassing stuff. Claiming he was protecting sensitive
material. It likely had less than the GOP version which had
nothing blacked out.

It's time our unpresident Trump got up and put his golf bag
away and work to bring the people together. It's time for
him to act like a real president, and not a fake one.

Will Trump take the responsibility to give security clearance
to staff in the white house?  Or will  he continue to let
unqualified see our state secrets?

It appeaser the pressure from young people is having some
effect on gun safety. Trump and the GOP are making noises
like they may increase the age requirement for the AR15, and
perhaps other simi automatic rifles.  A few big businesses across
the nation have pulled their support for the NRA. Time will tell if
this continues.

It's likely the GOP and Trump will try to please the NRA. So we
will likely see a few changes aimed to placate the public in the
short run. Those who wish to see more gun safety laws will
have to cocntinue letting their politicians know they will not
vote to keep them in office if they ignore them the need to
improve gun safety. Not to take guns from good people, but
to help keep them out of the hands of those wishing to harm

We should remember the NRA supports the firearm industry,
not gun safety laws. The gun industry makes hundreds of
millions manufacturing firearms. A industry started to provide
weapons for the military. Now they sell them around the world.

During WW2, a coyote named Jeep flew five combat missions in a P-47D Thunderbolt in the ETO. He was killed by his namesake and was buried with full military honors.

Undercharged shipping for an Ebay customer, but slow internet connection made adjusting or printing postage impossible. So I issued a refund.

Cold temps returning following a warm spell, light rain and some flooding. A couple idiots had to be rescued from an ice floe on Saginaw Bay.
