Welcome to Furtopia!  :)
The Trump Shutdown.

The GOP is shedding crocodile tears for sick kids
even though they could have had a vote for insurance
coverage for them. Instead the GOP puts it in a continuing
resolutions because they thought the Democrats would
forced to vote for it.

The Democrats offered to keep the government open on a day
by day or two basis while working on a compromise, but
the GOP said No!. The Democrats offered to maintain
pay for the military, but the GOP said No!

This proves the GOP is doing all they can to make the Democrats
look like the bad guys. Even if it hurts people.

President Trump who complains about Latino immigrants is fine
with a surge of Russians coming into the country. In fact he is
renting apartments to them in Trump Tower. I suppose if an
immigrant is rich and white he is fine with it. He talks about
immigrants of color being criminals, but ignores criminal
actions of white rich Russians and people from the far

A lot of drugs come to the country from the far east, along
Asians over staying their visas. Why doesn't Trump talk
about this problem. How come the GOP doesn't require
businesses and them selves to not hire illegal immigrants?
This alone would slow or stop illegal immigration.

The GOP doesn't want to fix the immigration problem. They
want the votes they get for opposing immigration. The
Democrats hands aren't totally clean either. Everyone seems
to forget is this country is made up of immigrants. The only
ones who are not are the Indians who came here thousands
of years ago.

The ad on TV saying the Democrats would be complicit for any
deaths by illegal immigrants because they shut the government
down only plays to the ignorant. If we are going to say this, then
President Trump is complicit for any deaths caused by his actions.

Besides the GOP's actions is why we have the shutdown. The Democrats
finally stood up and said No to the GOP who won't work or compromise.
Also due to a president who can't or won't make a decision and stand
by it. Even the GOP have said Trump won't tell them what he wants.
I think Trump only wants to stand by and let others do the work. He
doesn't want the responsibility required of any decision.

The so called Moral majority has lost their Morality by
supporting Trump. A man who has none. I am not a
fan of abortion, or homosexuality, but it's not my
place to say we need laws against it. People should
have a right to  decide what's right for them selves.
One persons beliefs must not be forces on others.
This country was founded on the rights of personal
beliefs. Not for any one belief. As long as it doesn't
harm others. People who claim their religious beliefs
are harmed should remember the passage "Judge not
lest you be judged."

President Trump and the GOP feel all he has to do is blaime the Democrats
to get their way. Trump seems to have forgot he himself said in 2013 that
it's the responsibility of the president  to keep the government working.
Instead he is just claiming it's all the Democrats at fault.

So now our genius President has stuck his foot in it now. His lack of decision
has shut down the government. Seems he forgot the buck stops with the
leader or in this case the president. Instead he listens to the far right when
they claim his supporters will leave him if he doesn't kick the Dreamers
out of the country. Trump made a lot of promises during his campaign. So
far he has done little except make rich people like himself richer. His great
tax plan isn't making more jobs. Perhaps a million people have gotten a
bonus, but mostly it's offset by many people being laid off.

Walmart gave it's employees a raise, then closed a lot of stores. They offered
a bonus to employees who worked at least 20 years. From what I have seen
Walmart has a big trunover so I doubt if they had many people who got them.
This is just one big business who isn't passing much of their tax savings
along to their employees. The GOP could have cut taxes for the middle
class which would have given the savings directly to the people, but  no
they gave it to people who didn't need it.

Trump has cut many regulationss that protect public safety and health. Why?
To increase profits for his big business friends and supporters.

The GOP say they want to work with the Democrats, but it's a lie.
They sit in closed rooms and make bills without any imput from
Democrats. Then when the Democrats won't agree to it they are
called bad uncaring people by the GOP and Trump. The GOP leaders
won't bring bills to the floor because they say passing a bill Trump
won't sign is a waste of time. It's not the responsibility of congress
to only pass bills the president will sign. That's what the presidents
veto is for.  The GOP doesn't want to embarrass Trump by sending
him a bill he has little or no good reason to veto.

This shudown isn't just about immigration it's about the GOP doing
their job. A year long funding and budget needs to be passed. For
3 years the GOP has had continuing resolutions. Stalling time and
time again. The GOP caused the last shutdown. There are many
things that need funding, but the GOP wants to reduce government
so they can cut taxes. They don't seem to care about public safety.
Let the states handle it. Well some businesses are so big they can
intimidate a whole state to get what they want. So we need the
central government to stop bad ideas that hurt everyone.

This shutdown is on the shoulders of the GOP and Trump no matter
how much they cry crocodile tears and whine about it. How long it
lasts should be up to them.

A possible government shutdown.

President Trump said in the past that the president is responsible
for any government shutdown. Guess what? He doesn't agree with
that now. The GOP and Trump are playing politics by saying this is
due to  the Democrats when Trump caused it by claiming he would
sign a bipartisan bill to fund government. He then changed his mind
backed up leaving the GOP wondering what to do.

Of course the GOP and Trump want to blaime the Democrats. They say
lets fund government now and talk later. The Democrats know that
the "LATER" never arrives. The GOP and Trump are using these kick the
can down the road funding is just them trying to push their agenda.
They don't seem to  care this activcity costs the tax payer because no
one can make plans for government projects. Even the Military can't
work  well this way. They should fund the government for the year
and be done with it.

I hope the public  see's this for what it is. The GOP is trying to use
the fact the Democrats want to fix the Dreamer problem and
insurance for poor kids to get their way. The GOP cries crocodile
tears for the kids and the Dreamers. They should be ashamed,
but they never are.

5)  On a similar note, wildlife researchers (not just rehabilitators) could use a convincing quad suit to infiltrate groups of animals to study them closer? (but may be dangerous!)

6)  You could, again, stuff a fursuit, place it in your bed, and put pillows over the head.  Then escape out of the house!  ;) :D

3)  A stuffed fursuit sitting at the dinner table could keep you company...    :-[
I immediately thought of the volleyball. Wilson! XD

4) Pretending to be the dog/cat/pet reindeer so visitors you don't want think you're not home.

you have a pet reindeer? neato!  ;)
