Retired Air Force pilot Bill Crump, when stationed in England during WW2, was quartered in a stone cottage. It would get quite cold in his room but his coyote squadron mascot kept him warm. Sometimes, it was a two-coyote night, he said.

Lots of snow and bitter cold this weekend. Will be moving around tons of snow while freezing in subzero wind chills. When I'm not doing that, will be watching movies and drinking hot chocolate, coffee, tea, etc. No traveling this weekend if I can avoid it.

You saw me sneaking up on you as you were beheading Charcoal. As you looked at my paws, you saw that I was holding a Klingon phaser rifle. Figuring that I was a threat to you, you started running towards me, with the intent to deal me the same fate as you did to Charcoal. However, you did not see the rock on the ground which you promptly tripped over, skewering yourself through the heart with your blade.

Going to be bitter cold this weekend. Plan on staying home, watching some movies, staying warm, drinking hot chocolate, work on a model kit, etc.

^  You broke your vow to serve the Night's Watch and defend the Wall, and you ran away from your post. I and my men chased after you and caught you.

Do you have any last words?  No?

I draw my sword and swing it, beheading you.

news forum / Re: Trump the GOP and Democrats. A new path or more of the same.

The vice presidents wife took a job with a religious school that doesn't
allow gays. Some are saying his wife should not have taken the job.
Being the wife of the VP she probably shouldn't have. After all those in the
government should respect the spirit of the constitution. Which says
the government will show no favor to any one religion or it's beliefs.

President Trump showed more of his childish pettiness by preventing
the military from flying the speaker and other congress men to
Afghanistan and Brussels where she planned to speak. He apparnetly
did this because of her not letting him make his state of the union
speech inthe house of congress. Trump claimed the trip was just a PR trip.
GOP members of congress were allowed to use a military plane few weeks
before with no questions asked. Trump even released the speakers secret
travel plans. Just more dirty tricks by Trump.

There is a report that Trump told a lawyer of his to lie to congress.
If true it is more proof that Trump is trying to cover up illegal
activities he has done. Even to tell someone to lie to congress
is a crime.

The longer this shutdown continues government workers will
reach a point where they are unable to even manage to afford
the cost of traveling to their jobs. Even if Trump threatens
them. Trump has a history of not paying people for their work,
so perhaps this is why he doesn't care now. Trump never has
needed a paycheck, so he can't reallyu undersant what
it's like to do without.

If Trump wasn't president, it's likely he would be going to prison
for not reporting moneys spent for the benefit of his campaign. This
is  just one of many things Trump may be guilty of. Yet the GOP
continues to protect him. They seem to think the Republican party
is so important that they will do anything, even to let people
get by with breaking laws. Not you or me, but the super rich, people
who use their money to take advantage of anyone they want.

It's the super rich who sentd our young people to war. They fear any
country or people who might affect their ability to become even richer.

These people want to run the country and decide what laws are created.
So they can make money without compitition. They wish to set prices for
products by some arbitrary value that has little to do with it's cost to
produce. Remember the 750 dollar pill a hedge funder decided to charge
for a 20 dollar pill? This is just one of many ways the rich use their ill gotten
money to increase their wealth at the expense of others. This is no different
than someone charging 20 dollars to a person needing a drink of water in
the desert, even though it's cost was 20 cents. People will have to make
politicians suffer before they will put an end to this kind of abuse by
the super rich. Even then the super rich will try to deceive the public
to keep their control.
