I don't want kids. For their own sake.
If I had some, they would just end up 1/2 animal because I would convert them to fury animals.  Then they would get abducted by a mad scientist who would try and figure out what they are. Only to find out it is just a fun hobby.

Na mostly beta and alpha.  Alpha stopped by clothes and dead skin layer.  Beta mostly stopped by skin. And exposure time was only 3 hours at a distance of about 1 cm, with denim in between.  With my Geiger counter at that distance it was like 44,000 counts per minute for alpha+beta+gamma.  That's about <700 times background.  Or about < 25% extra for the year. My areas background level is 67 counts per minute.  My body is slightly higher at about 71 counts per minute.

I now use a lead lined wood box. And in fact I haven't collected rocks like that in 5 years?

Oh, now I get it. And again sorry about controls class.

Yeah, when signals start being discussed on the complex plane,  and people start doing complex math with imaginary numbers, for real world signals,  discussing signals that are going to happen in the future,  it gets a little insane. I just rolled with it,  and regurgitated facts later.  Then I used it only a little bit in real life,  and re learned what I needed at that time.

I have yet to see an imaginary signal in real life...
My test instruments measure only real valued signals here.

So when you are done with college, you're not going to be so busy with real normal boring life that you forget us fuzzbutts are you? :( :'(
Deal *holds out hand* hey trust me I'm a red neck I can rfix anything with ducttabe and jb  weld but I got laundry duty and I might get the munchies and um you might need to see a Dr and get your self checked
Quite seriously, I did carry rocks I did mine IRL in my pocket.  I went home to find out they were stongly radioactive! I washed and was okay.

I hope those were cargo pockets. Otherwise you might want to adopt kids instead of having them. :p

Varg is  " out of control...s"
Sorry,  I didn't like controls homework myself.  I think you can retake it, right?

Not unless I stay an extra year. I'm taking a course in the spring, Vibrations, that fulfills the requirement and is aimed at mechanical engineers rather than electricals and their abstract, convoluted math ;)

Hello and welcome to Furtopia!

I, too, was drawn to the fandom by the realistic art and costumes. Once I stumbled upon a few of the talented writers in the fandom, lurking in the dark html holes of personal sites and story repositories I knew where to get the fiction I'd been looking for. I enjoy the community a lot, and I hope you will too.

Here is a bit of a "Welcome Aboard" we like to give to all of our new members. It's a mix of 'getting to know you' questions, forum rules, and forum resources. Please peruse at your convenience.

Here are some introductory questions you can answer if you like:
Mind telling us how you happened upon our friendly community?
How long have you been a furry / known about the fandom?
Do you have a fursona? If so, what is it?
What interests you about the anthropomorphic (furry) fandom?

Hope you enjoy your stay! Be prepared for an onslaught of warm welcoming hugs and pounces from fellow members! If you don't want the hugs, just let us know and your wish will be respected! Click on any of the gold-colored links above or below for further information. ;)

We also have an IRC chatroom you may want to join. Just enter your fursona name and start chatting! If you need help on accessing the Furtopia IRC, please see this thread here: How to use an IRC client

Please take the time to read the Furtopia Forum Posting Rules. This is a PG rated “family friendly” forum. Please also take the time to post your topics in the most appropriate section - it will be greatly appreciated by all. If you have a question or problem, or if you need help with anything on the Furtopia forums, then feel free to contact an Administrator or Moderator via PM (Private Message) or use the Report to Moderator button found in every post. Please let the Admins and Mods handle any problems that arise. :)

When reading your description I couldn't help but be reminded of Simo Häyhä, the White Death. He was a famous sniper who did much like what you described.
