furry greetings / Bonjour. I'm back ^,..,^
« Last post by Arachnid on July 21, 2018, 07:49:44 pm »
Well, It seems I'm back. It's been a long time since I was last active. I honestly forgot about the place untill I started to get back into the furry fandom recently. I dunno if much people remember me or really know me but that's fine. A lot has happened to me in my absence. I've had some people very close to me pass away, I have went through a big bout of depression that in still dealing with as well. But along with the bad there has been good. I turned 18 last month and although that isn't very impressive its still cool to me. Family I haven't talked to in years is finally coming around and I'm getting to spend some quality time with them. Nothing too big but yea.

It's nice to be back and I hopefully will be more active and will interact with you all more soon!

news forum / Re: Trump the GOP and Democrats. A new path or more of the same.

The GOP and Trump both seem to be avoiding any support to
prevent attacks on our election this fall. They voted to cut
$300,000 in aid to  help state and local officials prevent
such attacks. The Democrats tried to restore it, but the
GOP prevented it. To me it looks like the GOP is hoping
the Russians will help them again this fall. If true they should
be held responsible for breaking their oath of office.

The other day an unfortunate accident happened that cost 17 lives.
An amphibious boat was caught out on a lake during a violent
storm and sank. I only bring this up to say the Democratic
US senator said we need to see that these boats are properly
regulated to help prevent this from happening again. Once
before such a tragedy occurred and was found the cover that
protects occupants  from sun and rain was a big cause as it
prevented people from escaping. This was ignored and and it's
removal during lake crossings wasn't required by law. This top
apparently caused several of the deaths this time as well.  A
republican senator opposed making any regulations waiting to
find the real cause that might take a year.. In the meantime the
boats will likely operate as before. The GOP as usual are anti
regulation even when it puts the public at risk. Especially if it
might cost a big business a lot of money.

I know Trump says we need to be friends with Russia. I agree,
but not at the expense of our rights. Trump doesn't care about
peoples rights as long as it doesn't affect  him. Many of the
rich down through history have only delt with the masses
when they had to. Otherwise they are ignored and left to
suffer and die. If you think Trump is different I fear your in
for a big surprise.

It seems many of Trumps supporters think the right to own
firearms exists in Russia. They best think again. To have any
firearm in Russia requires permits, licenses, and registration.
Not just for the weapon, but any and all ammunition as well.

Nearly all firearms that are in the hands of Russians are those
for hunting animals. The last thing Putin and his cronies want
is a population with weapons they could use to overthrow the
government. I doubt if the military foot soldiers  have any
ammunition until they are ordered to use it.

Trumps supporters should keep this in mind when they see
Trump cozying up to Putin. If we loose our democracy it's
very likely leaders that follow will go after our firearms. For
the public good of course. I am sure most would feel they
could prevent it, but such a government would get them, even
if it took years.

A recording of Trump talking about payments to a porn star was
revealed. If it says what was reported it shows Trump has been
lying about his relations with the porn star, and the money as
well. Trump apparently didn't report this on his campaign spending
report. So he might be guilty of breaking campaign laws, and
perhaps other laws that affect money handling.

Thank you so much Amducious!  :)

What about...
"He shattered his femur, and water was running low"
If that is too "directive" you do not have to use it.

I will definitely add that phrase to the list, thanks Jade!

Trump continues to call the media fake news. He uses this ploy trying
to coverup his misdeeds, and mistakes. Trump stacks lie upon lie trying
to keep himself and his family out of trouble.

Trump is mad at his CIA director because he didn't stay loyal to him during
a interview by NBC. It's possible Trump is looking for a replacement. This is
the same guy that told him the Russians hacked the 2016 election.

Trump has invited Putin to  Washington DC this fall. Even into the
white house.  We can only wonder what secrets Trump may expose
to the Russian leader.

I have heard some Trump supporters say Trumps a man who understands
the little guy.  Do they really think a man who never had a day in his life
where he had to do without, could have any idea what it's like to work
for a living? This guy started out as a multi millionair. It's likely all he had
to do as a kid was to crook his finger and his wish was granted.

People like this have no idea what the average person goes through to
make a living. He may have some idea told to him by friends or by
watching TB, but no real life experience. The kind of experience that
it takes to give one a true understanding of the real world. He like many
rich people feel poor people to be lazy bums that want everything
given to them.

This is why many  in the GOP want to get rid of social programs.
That and to lower their taxes.  They lower taxes then when the
democrats take power they have to raise taxes to cover the
deficits  caused by the GOP's tax cuts. The GOP turns around and
blames the democrats and social programs for higher taxes.

The GOP keeps this going in circles to help them stay in power or
return to power. Just  like they don't want to fix the immigration
problems. They want to use it to help get elected.

Politicians couldn't get by with this if the public would pay
attention to  what their public official do, and vote them out
for such activities. Instead many people listen to their half
truths andlies when they run for election. People shouldn't
vote for someone because their friends or family want them
to. Women shouldn't listen to their husbands on how to vote.
This happens a lot unfortunately.

I see an ad where a man is running for US senate as a republican.
This is well and good, but he is saying his democratic opponent is
too rich to understand our needs. This is so hypocritical when his
party stands behind a billionaire as our president.

The trainer we have actually did her training with and uses the methods of Caeser Millan.

Kimba had another session today, working on lead walking and more advanced car stuff, and she is showing very good improvement. All her walks are now going to be on the slip lead, and we're starting to shut car doors with her inside the car.

Nothing that wasn't already legal under the First Amendment. Besides, having the plans for something is not the same thing as making it, or even being able to make it. That's why I have plans for the Sten Mk II submachine gun despite not owning a metal lathe.
