Political Correctness

Just because something bothers another person and they think it should be removed, does NOT mean that I am offended by it and I think it should be removed.

In other news.........

Donald Trump wants a 6th U.S. military force: the Space Force.
https://www.tmj4.com/news/national/trump-says-pentagon-directed-to-launch-space-force-branch-of-military
Seriously?  :o Sounds like more of a "Space Farce" to me.  :D

Need to say it, but we don't need a 6th military force for the United States. We've got enough problems in the U.S. (and/or the world) right now that need taking care of without having to worry about how the heck we're going to try and come up with another military force. We've already got the U.S. Space Command which is part of the U.S. Air Force. They already watch and handle any U.S. military space activities, so there's no need for more "duplicity" by creating another military space organization.
Where the heck are we supposed to come up with the money and materials to create another military force anyway? Oh wait, that's right, by cutting back on Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Education, and other programs and services that Americans need.  >:( Way to go, Trumptard! What the hell does Trump expect? That we're going to get invaded soon by "illegal extraterrestrial alien immigrants"? So he wants to create another military space force to protect our solar system's borders?  :D

President Trump has likely grabbed a hornets nest by picking on
little kids. Yet he still continues to blame it on everyone but him self.
It's Trump who made the decision to seperate kids from their parents.
Even to send parents back to their country without their children.

I think if Trump is backed up to a wall and his people tell him he
has lost. He will changed his tune claiming he ihas to save the
children from the bad democrats. And his  supporters will
cheer.

Trump doesn't want the media to take pictures, he doesn't
want the media to see anything. He wants to hide this even
from those who support him. He knows video's would bring his
plans down along with him and the GOP.

One big issue I dislike about furry and try to change  is how  furries  deal with  the younger and older members  outside the demographic. We had  and incident  at anther fur group shunning  and insulting and elderly member. Then I feel general (not   specifically adult  like meting at a bar) furcons  should serve the whole community. I do not by banning under 18 reason about insurance but    lack  of social skill of  20 - 30 somthings  leaders  to deal with those outside the peer group. For  me a  a Christian is  an 18+ 21+ con is usually a red flag to stay away. My only  only experience  with  18+ multi genre  convention is people getting drunk and acting  immoral is they want to. The idea of  adult does not mean acting as a mature  adult.

If I was  running a con my policy is  leaders  will serve the  community, young and old  or get out and if you do not like kids ruining around then I can suggest stay home of find a bar.

I agree. Many furs when they get interviewed by certain media go about how furry is welcoming. But to who? Seems old furs like me seem to be ignored by the younger furs who don't talk to me and only seem to stick to themselves.

I, as a new furry who's already getting grey, realize that the older ones are the ones who make it possible for me to enjoy the fandom.  I personally would interact with anyone, if they wanted.  :)

We needed to weld stuff in the prototype shop. The factory tool room is busy, so I found and set up an old welder that was sitting in the corner. It took a lot of finagling, but eventually I got all the setting right and could make a decent weld. To paraphrase my boss:

"Wow, that thing actually works?!"

I spent my day at a local animal rescue centre, playing with a 7 year old female malamute named Kimba.

My friends are adopting a 7 year old male eurasier from there (a super-fluffy, medium-sized Spitz breed from Germany) called Kronus, and have their home visit to check their house is suitable on Thursday.

As with all new inventions the use of electronics should allow for
backups that can replace devices that provide what we need
to survive. Like water, waste removal, food, transportation,
and heating our. personal environments.

Currently we are not doing these things. So any disaster that
shuts down power and or communication will put our lives at risk.

It's a catch 22 because the electronics cut costs, but providing
backups would remove the cost savings. This would be an
deterrent to advances in electronics. So we have to decide if we
want to put those in the future at risk or not. Unfortunately it's
likely big business and the rich who will decide. As we know
their decisions follow the money, not our lives.
