Governments like to tell the public you have to do one  thing to
get another. Governments need to be sure those they require
have the means to follow the requirements first.

Some states require people needing aid they must try to find
a job to be elegible. This is all well an good, but if they don't have
the means to look for a job, the government should provide it.
Otherwise it is unfair to the needy, and hurts us all.

The automotive and tire industry have worked hard to  prevent
or limit public transportation. Many times those in government are
complicit with this. So how can they expect people who can't afford
the  means of travel to  find work.

The senate is working to vote on 2 bills that could
open the government. It's likely Trump will veto any
that doesn't include his wall. Then it's up to those in
the senate and the house to override his veto.

The GOP controlled senat has been dragging it's feet
for the last month. Mainly due to the majority leader
of the senate refusing to oppose Trump. More proof
the GOP cares more for the rich than the average
American.

Over 20 people are running for the nomination to
run for the office of president in the democrat party.
Perhaps many more before the primaries start in 2020.
Obviously only one will end up with the nomination, but
in the process many good ideas will be put out for  voters
to discuss and decide who to select.

It's likely Trump will follow the process watching to see
who he will have to run against. I imagine he will be
having rallies where he can bad mouth all of the
candidates. At least those moving to the front. He may
even encourage any who he feels he can beat.

It appears president Trumps pr lawyers claims he was
working to get his Moscow hotel built all the way up to
the 2016 election, sent Trump into an apoplectic rage.
After all Trump had told his voters he had nothing to do
business wise in Russia. Trump seems to forget lies lead
to trouble eventually.

Somehow I think people working in the white house cringe
in fear each time they hear Trump go into one of his screaming
fits. I imagine everyone but family makes them selves scarce
when it happens.

The business with the confrontation in washington by these
young people should show us all, that it best to walk away
rather than being afraid of letting others win. Many times
people don't stop and think instead of wanting to win the
fight. This is part of growing up or being an adult. Unfortunately
some never make it.

President Trump is planning a meeting with the North
Korean leader next month. One can only wonder what
Trumps love fest wiht him will brain about. If Trump pulls
the troops out of south Korea we won't be able to put them
back without the threat of war.

Then North Korea will try to use threats to begin control
of south korea. Trump claims North Koreea is obeying the
agreement he made with them, but they continue to
build bombs and missiles.

President Trump claims he will make his state of the union
address on the 29th, but the speaker cays he can't have it
int eh house till he opens the  government back up. So
where it will be is up in the air so to  speak.

It's cold, and snowing outside! The temperature has dipped down to -5 at night, and 0 during the day. You can ice-skate fairly safely after today. Unfortunately the snow won't last longer than a few days, because after that it'll start to get a few degrees warmer again.
