chilly with off and on rain showers and mostly cloudy days.
The nomination of Barr to the post of attorney general  spoke to
the senate today. It was obvious he supported the president to
build a wall with Mexico. It makes one wonder what else he agreed
to support Trump on. He also wouldn't agree to recuse himself
from the special counsels investigation.

GOP senators in the hearing basically just patted him on the back.
In thata their questions or statements were to support his opinions,
and beliefs not to question them. The democrats did question
them, but in several cases he dogdged by saying It depends on
this or that. Also by agreeing or disgreeing  instead of saying yes
or no.

He will likely be made atterney general because the GOP has
control of the senate, but he will likely do more harm than
good for the rule of law in the country with Trump as

About 8 degrees, a little windy, generally sunny with a few periods of rain with a small chance to be mixed with hail. During the week, the temperature will keep dropping a few degrees and the precipitation will generally remain the same.

The shutdown is affecting HUD supported homes for the elderly
as well. Many of which could find themselves homeless soon if
the GOP continues to sit on his hands. Some might say let's give
Trump what he wants for the benefit of the people. Trouble
with that is Trump will use a shutdown for anything he can't get
otherwise if we do.

Trump claims his wall is for national security, yet his shutdown
is hurting national security much more than the lack of his wall
ever could.

President Trump, a man who lies almost everytime he opens his
mouth continues to claim he isn't involved with Russia. A man
who has tried to get permission to build a Trump Hotel in Moscow
for years. Not counting real estate deals elsewhere in Russia, and
areas under Russian control.

Trump claims he has been very tough on Russia. More than other
presidents. Yet he has done his best to remove sanctions from
Russia. He was forced to apply even more sanctions on Russia
by a veto proof vote by the senate and the house. This was when
the GOP controlled both houses. Trump always uses the excuse we
need to be friends with Russia. It's Trump who wants to be friends
with Russia. It's not for the good of the United States, but for
the good of Trump Inc..

All Trump s ee's is gold for himself. A money grubbing con artist,
Trump continues to  drag the country down to  his level.
