Songs from your childhood?
« on: October 31, 2013, 07:19:12 pm »
What are some memorable and enjoyable songs or rhymes etc, from your childhood? o.o just in one of those random curious moods ^_^

Cuckoo Cuckoo
What do you do?
In April I open my bill
In May I sing night and day
In June I change my tune
In July far far I fly
In August away
I must

Heard it on the television and it took me back a little.  (:

I remember singing like that in a choir a lot from around age 8 to 11  :-[

Mine are strange

Oingo boingo
Devo
Trio
Art of noise
Some Japanese kids songs ( forgot name)
Disney soundtracks
Among a few more conventional ones.
I wear this crown of thorns
Upon my liar's chair
Full of broken thoughts...
You are someone else
I am still right here

This bought a tear to my eye. You might find it stupid. Or you may love it, who knows.

Weep for simpler times. :'(

If only if only the woodpecker sighs
the bark on the trees was as tall as the skies
while the wolf waits below, hungry and lonely
it cries to the moon, if only if only

Yes! Gotta say, I liked the movie a lot more. The way they blended the scenes from the past to the present worked a lot better than just putting all of the past first.

I loved all kinds of music from Disney movies, cartoons, oldies radio, etc.

But this is one song that will always remain in my memory...

"Blue", by The Jayhawks. My dad always had it on when I was little.
Whenever I see these signatures, I feel like I should use mine to say something really interesting and profound, but I always end up with some generic quote or saying. Hmm. That's unfortunate. Well, now guess who looks like a excessively meta killjoy. I do!
