For some reason, coding can make coders feel
really stupid...
Take, for example, a piece of code that I had written for my programming class:
Array Array::operator =(const Array&other) {
*this = Array(other);
return *this;
}
For those who aren't coders, this piece of code is telling the computer how to make one Array object equal to another Array object, which I attempted to pull off by referencing a piece of code that did an almost equivalent task. Unfortunately, in my endeavors, I had caused this code to assign one Array object the value of another.
Doing this is very much like putting "Sauté the onions" as a step in directions on how to sauté onions. Needless to say, unhappiness ensued.
I can't get past the "Good" rating into the "Cool" rating in PaRappa The Rapper!
At least you *have* the game. PaRappa the Rapper and Amplitude have been on my Christmas list since before the PS3 came out, and my parents have never been able to find those games... ever...
