For some reason, coding can make coders feel really stupid...
Take, for example, a piece of code that I had written for my programming class:
Code: [Select]
Array Array::operator =(const Array&other) {
   *this = Array(other);
   return *this;
}
For those who aren't coders, this piece of code is telling the computer how to make one Array object equal to another Array object, which I attempted to pull off by referencing a piece of code that did an almost equivalent task.  Unfortunately, in my endeavors, I had caused this code to assign one Array object the value of another.

Doing this is very much like putting "Sauté the onions" as a step in directions on how to sauté onions.  Needless to say, unhappiness ensued.

I can't get past the "Good" rating into the "Cool" rating in PaRappa The Rapper!
At least you *have* the game.  PaRappa the Rapper and Amplitude have been on my Christmas list since before the PS3 came out, and my parents have never been able to find those games...  ever...

Listening to NPR and hearing the speaker keep uttering "Umm..." in every sentence. It totally throws off my train of thought!

Karen's umbreon keeps beating me! Focus punch only takes away half it's HP ;_;
Sometimes I wonder how easily I am influenced by those around me. The need to fit in somewhere always tugs at me from the back of my mind, even though I should be doing my own thing.

my little sister and my dad are being a pain in my ssa. first my dad witches and complains at me cause i'm always in my room. well who cares! i'm 18, and i dont wanna put up with him and my sister in the same room. and i its bad enough when they start bitching. THEN i'm in my room listening to my music and my brat little sister (who is 12) comes in to the room (that we [unfortunately] share) and she starts listening to this stripper music and acts all "amazing" at singing when she sounds like a cow in labor... actually that sound's much better. so i'm blasting my ears out with my techno to drown her out. then to top off the best day of my life, my teeth hurt, i need to go to the dentist to get them fixed but my 'rental took me off his insurance so i'm nailed till i get a job with benefits. so i cant go get my teeth checked out. AND i totally sipsed off my BF so now he's really upset cause i forgot to compliment something that he's amazing at. and i tell him everyday when i'm with him on SL (second-life) and so i hurt him and i'm about to blow.... i'm so glad this place is here or i would seriosly end up strangling my sister and balling my eyes out... FML

Murphy has not failed in his duties of sabotaging my family's Thanksgiving dinner.

Unfortunately, it seems that the only way to escape unfortunate circumstance in a Thanksgiving meal for my family is to eat out.  We did not eat out this year.  Consequently, Thanksgiving did not go as well as planned.  (The oven was left off for the turkey's first 2 hours in the oven.)

Once again...

Murphy hates me.

Every Furry-related site I try to go to on the computers in school (with the exception of here and a Furry humor archive that hasn't been updated in 5 years)  is blocked by the firewall because they are in the category of "adult.lifestyles". The majority of them are PG for Christ's sake!

People dont understand us. And because of that ,they fear us. fear creates doubt and darkens the mind. This finaly leads to anger and destruction. When they cant destroy us, they ignore us. When they cant Ignore us, they catagories us based on assumptions. This finaly leads to a false acceptince. And is where we are at now. They accept we exist, but the assumption is that all of furry fandom is perverted and sick. So they cast us into another bizzar realm of fetishes and forget us. Atleast until they can find something else to scrutenice.

The other thing is, the host probably labeled it under Adult lifestyles/Adult Content. Wich means it may contain materials, not suitable for minors. You might be mature enough, but there are allot who are not. So Labeling it properly is important, as to avoid legal issues. As well the internet is world wide. In some countries, even showing your ancle is forbidden. So Labeling helps to collect the value of the site for others.
