Hello all y'all fuzzies! It's almost that time of the year again where the annual furry migration to Pittsburgh happens! Anyone know if they are going to be attending?

This year's theme is VIKING INVASION!!

Registration is open!
Hotel rooms are TBA

So far work says I can go, paws crossed that there are no last minute snafus like last year. Just registered over the weekend, badge number 800!
Hope to see some familiar faces again this year!

UPDATE: Hotel information date has been released. Copypasted from Anthrocon's website:

General hotel reservations will begin on Monday, February 2, 2015, at 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. All hotel rooms must be reserved through VisitPittsburgh Housing Services if you want to get the special convention rate.

A pre-payment of one night's room and tax will be required at the time of the reservation. This pre-payment will not be refundable if you decide to cancel your reservation later. Prices are still being hammered out, but will be universally within a few dollars of last year's rates. We will have a full rundown of room rates prior to February 2.

Regarding suites at the Westin (and only at the Westin): these are always very much in demand, and whereas in the past we have had people contact us directly, this year we are going to do things a little differently. On Saturday, January 10 at 12:00 noon, a webform will be linked here on anthrocon.org that will have all of the information about sizes and prices for suites, and will allow you to send the hotel your contact information and what size suite you are interested in. The hotel will then contact you within a week. If the type of suite that you are looking for is not available, you will automatically be placed on a waiting list for that type. And yes, you will be able to indicate an interest in multiple suite types!

tl;dr version: Westin Suite reservations will begin at 12 noon EST January 10 using a webform that we will publish at that time. General room reservations for all hotels will begin February 2 at 11:00 AM EST. Supersponsors will be contacted well in advance.

Still have yet to register but of course I plan on going, last time I had an absolute blast! I might be in the masquerade again actually.

Gotta have a pow-wow with my folks so we can get it all together. Been saving for this Anthrocon since the end of last Anthrocon actually.

Not going sadly, do to school and not having enough time to travel all the way to Pennsylvania. Hopefully I will be able to go in the future.

I have parental consent to go this year!! I'll be 17 and Critter and I will be going for one day...and we get to drive ourselves and my parental figures will be in Puerto Rico...so I have to learn how to drive...and Critter and I also must register...but I'm very excited because she and I will both have fursuits!! So excited!!

I just finished my registration! I'm so excited, can't wait to party it up with my buddies again. Also...no guarantees but there's a chance I might be in the masquerade again.

Depending on how I feel after my back surgery this summer, I may be there or not. I'm very optimistic that I will be able to make it to AC though if things go as hoped with recovery. If not, next year for sure! I'll provide updates if necessary.

This will be my fourth (furry) con but my first time at Anthrocon! I have been saving since August and have enough that my boyfriend will be coming as well! We are currently working on his visa now and we already have the hotel booked.

I hope to see you all there! I will keep an eye on this thread from time to time.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this year.

I've a few finances to take care of, and even then I'd want to take a local fur with me to help me with the general experience.

That and print comic purchases.

I think AC 2015 went pretty well, plenty of awesome people and fursuiters. I'd have to say the fursuit parade was the highlight of it all easily, just seeing how much pittsburgh just loves us.

There's a couple of pics i got of myself.

And this is me getting my pic with Niic the Singing Dog after his concert which i gotta say that was probably one of my personal favorite moments of AC '15
