I saw it when you put up a link for it in the IRC, but still, I love it. Plaid is awesome.
As for wearing it to school... Like I said in the chat, I don't think many people know what furry is, so they'll just see it as you wearing a collar.
You could start by just wearing it when you're out with friends whom you are close to, and if you like the reaction from them (or lack of) then you can decide whether or not you want to wear it to school.
