collars and tails?

i was wonderin if some one could explain collars and tails. are the collors just like regular pet ones? and the tails are they like a fursuit tail because ive been seeing ppl around my highschool wit the key chain ones but they are not furrys and i want to get a tail.
i much oblidge from you answering/explaining these things to me

you should post this in the collar thread and the tail thread ;)

and yeah, the collars are usually regular dog collars and the tails are like fursuit tails
