How do you sleep?

         When I sleep I take my larger pillows and cover them in a blanket making a sort of cave to sleep in, like a fox's den. It's really cozy and I feel safer in it for some reason.

Do any of you do similar things?

I'm not sure if I could sleep balled up, just as long as I'm not on my back!

I start sleeping on my back, and after my first alarm, I start sleeping on one side, then the other.  I cant sleep balled up, because I'd be uncomfortable.  My mate can ball up though. I dont understand how he stands it.  I like one pillow under my head, and one sheet and blanket on top of me.  when i lived alone I'd somtimes sleep at an angle, and always with a few plushies, but not that I'm mated, I dont have room for them anymore

My dog makes pillow caves.  She will push the pillows/cushions from the couch onto the floor on top of her. I have to often fix the cushions because of her fort-making. 

I can't sleep in a ball. That would be too uncomfortable. As much as I'd like to be, I'm not a dog. 
I sleep cuddled up with my mate and my girl-dog in the bed. She will either curl up in a ball, or lay parallel to us, usually with her nose facing the foot end of the bed. I have a really warm, soft micro-fleece blanket. I love it, its extra cozy, and then a heavy quilt over that. We stay warm.

I wish i could curl up, but even being 6' 1" on a bedbunk bed I can't do it some how. I was sleeping for a long time with a pillow on my head and two under my head. but now I only do that when the bathroom door bothers me too much. I don't like having open doors behind me, but it has no door. and then i have a window above me. XD So I face the window, just encase! lol

Now I tend to sleep on my stomach or side with my arms crossed across me chest and my legs spead out.  weird i know, but hey I need pressure on my chest to feel comfortable for some reason. Though I do from time to time sleep on my back, legs crossed at the ankle and arms crossed across my chest...I tried to take a nap on the bus before I graduated like that over two seat and got called a vampire...but that's crazy...I'm a Werewolf XD okay i'll stop ranting now.

yeah,   i've done that many times,  though,  i sometimes end up taking it down before i can fall alseep because i get oddly paranoid.

Lol paranoid...I feel the uncontrollable urge to either explore and clear out the house or cover up completely from view if i get that way when I go to sleep.

I cant seem to sleep with out my head covered for that very reason.

I tend to shift where I sleep. I not entirely comfortable sleeping in the same room as another person for a long period of time, so this has made having a roommate rather difficult. I tend to alternate between naps on the bed (with at least two pillows, I like something that my head can sink into and I can get my hands between) and sleeping on the couch (in fact, I like sleeping on the couch. Comfy, next to windows so it's cool, and with plenty of cushions for pillows).

Something that's odd: when I'm a little tired and want to grab a quick nab, I tend to fall asleep very quickly (and it tends lasts longer than I wanted it to), but when I'm actually trying to go to sleep for the night, it usually take over an hour to finally nod off (tossing and turning the whole time, trying to get comfy). Don't know why, it';s always like that (no matter the situation).

I know how ya feel man I can never get to sleep at night, but if i take a nap it quick...though i rarely do cuz it leaves me feeling kinda like crap the rest of the day.

Yeah, I kinda feel like that afterward as well. Not so much from the sleep (though that does feel much better before I actually nod off then when I wake up), but because I'm always a bit annoyed I wasted so many hours in the day sleeping (I got things to do! Sure, they're frivolous things, but they're still things!)

Add this wolf to your trio of easy-nappers/hard-to-sleepers!  It does get frustrating at times, and it makes me think that I'm nocturnal, like my body rhythms are trying to keep me awake during the night.

But whether napping or full-on seeping, I always do it on my side, and I bring my limbs very close to my body.  I was never aware of how I slept until I heard a strange comment in my college's student lounge.  I was hording an entire half of a couch for my own selfish slumber, and I was not yet asleep when I heard a female right above me whisper to her friend, "Hey, wanna see the cutest sleeper ever?"  It was difficult holding back a reflexive grin.

I also hug my red moshi pillow whenever I'm in my own bed.  Of course, mine is more saggy and drool-covered than that one.

Ditto, I always sleep on my side. It's just a lot more comfortable (plus I'm pretty sure I snore on my back, and I don't want that). And I'm pretty sure I'm just as bad when it comes to hogging the sleeping areas (it's my couch! My couch! Don't they understand!? *leans back, aware no one will get that reference*)

And I had a pillow like that. Loved it, but it got a hole and started to leak those little beads (all sewed up now, but I'm a lot more careful with it now).

i sleep on my side also,  sometime with my back leaning against the wall.   I sleep when i can.   Recently i've been staring at my ceiling till 3 in the morning.   I think it's a sign i'm ment for the night

I'm odd.  I can't nap, unless I do it inadvertently (in which case I'd rather be doin' other things).  Sleeping at night is a struggle, as well; I can't sleep with any light in the room.  Luckily, I have a face mask to wear during the night.  It usually comes off a time or two, so I might just have to build a "fortress of solitude" for my bed. 

As for sleeping, I change from back to side.  I toss a bit before I actually fall asleep, but I usually wake up on my right side.

Ah, I cannot nap worth anything, especially in a bed! If there's any source of natural light in the sky, or it's before 7:30 I will not be able to fall asleep. Simply because whenever I wake up I feel all hot, sweaty, gross, lightheaded, and generally sick. However, if I nap on the floor (carpet preferred) I'm totally fine. Just plain weird eh?

that's a furry trait if i ever heard one.

I also have a hard time falling asleep I have to ware myself out pretty bad to fall asleep right away.

I've actually done that a lot (yeah, carpet really helps). Whenever the couch is taken here, as a matter of fact, I end up on the floor. Just need a couple pillows (one for my head, the rest as a little impromptu mattress), and I'm all set for the floor.

I tend to curl up and wrap myself in the blanket. Like, a little bed nest. I also have to sleep on my side. I can't sleep any other way unless super drunk/tired. Then I usually fall asleep halfway through reading something.

But honestly, I suppose I'm a "Freefaller". That's always how I sleep! Except that if I'm facing left, my right arm is under the pillow, and same for the other way around.

I'm definitely a Freefaller, except I more like hug the pillow. I have a tough time sleeping on my back because there's too much light hitting my eyes, and whenever I sleep on my side my bottom arm gets all pin-and-needly. So there you go.
