What should I put on my collar?

I've been considering getting a collar to express my furriness with, but I don't know what I should put on it. What's a good idea for something to put on a collar? Like, maybe a bell, or some kinda tag?

When I get my collar, I'm going to get a dog shaped engraved tag on it and the collar is going to be rainbow...really, you can add anything to a collar. Most people probably would get a tag or a bell, but consider your fursona and its personality and what might go with its appearance.

I'm getting my collar this weekend, and on mine I'm putting an engraved dogtag that says KIT along with her species. 
I also hope to wear it to school next year.

my school doesn't allow collars... A few people wore the really long spiked ones, which are against school conduct. Well the people thought they found a loophole and said that other people (as in me and one of my friends, only other furry I know of in my school) wore collars all the time. So about halfway through this year they banned all collars. T-T. Off topic I know.

Anyways, my collar had a tag I got when I went to the vet with my dog. It had my fursona's name, my address and my number (required for getting a tag through my vet. They thought it was for a cat lol but they sell them to people who they know don't have pets. )

If you've religious beliefs maybe a tag with your favoured holy symbol etched in it.

Maybe a small tag-style keychain that pertains to something you like? Back when I wore a collar, I had an X-Files keychain on it, along with my cat's rabies tag. *laugh*

It's upto you really. I've only met people with tags on there's but I did see someone who had a massive bell on one (about the size of a tennis ball I think). That was part of his fursuit though

Of course you could always have a tag and a bell Do some mixing and matching.

My fiance bought mood rings for us at Earthbound in the downtown area of my city. He left his here, and I lost the paper to the mood rings so I looped them onto my collar.

I just got a collar a few days ago, and it has a mouse shaped tag with my full fursona name, Zingin Setsuko, and a small bell.

As for you, you should get something that relates to your fursona, and that you like.Otherwise whats the point?

Be clever!  Put whatever you want on it!  While it's not on a collar (yet), I wear a steel mind-teaser puzzle on a chain around my neck.  If you get a tag, it doesn't even have to have generic tag-stuff on it (name, etc.).  You can put a quote, or your favorite word, or anything.

Last time me and my friend were shopping I was wearing my dog collar and walked passed the engravers telling my friend I wanted a tag, she convinced me to get ome done and it was really cheap, only $12 AUS for a little gold/silverish tag and Medianoche engraved on it! But yeah tag or religious symbol would be cool, I sometimes wear my inverted crucifix on mine and my Pentagram, rest assured I get more looks wearing those than I do wearing a tag

I've been meaning to get just a simple tag for mine, I dunno if I want to have my fursona's name engraved on it though or if I want to put something else like "property of" and my mate's fursona name.
