I can't really describe it; recently I lost interest in wearing my fox tail at conventions, it not I am losing interest in furry subculture as it is my fursona is part of me to where was awkward to wear a fox tail or anything outside my chosen species. I am a bear and not a fox. I might make up a pair of bear ears.

I wonder others have the same feeling.

Well, one of my main fursonas is a horse, so not a lot of apparel to wear there lol. My other one is a red wolf though, but she's colored like a fox so I get called a fox a lot as well. I could wear a collar if I so chose, but I haven't bothered to go out and get one yet. If I did, I'd probably get a little one I could use as a bracelet.

Acton, I feel the same way! I had a wolf tail when I was younger ( I'd made it myself and it looked terrible anyway) but I never felt comfortable wearing it to any of the fur meets, as I'm not a wolf. Kind of sucks, as a bear doesn't have much of tail at all! I'd like to get a pair of 'hoof shoes' to wear as part of my fursona, but I'd never do horns. I've never seen any way to make them not look ridiculous :/

I'm a dog. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything related to any other species. Dog ears and tail or none at all. I wouldn't feel right wearing a fox tail or cat ears.

I would not likely wear any tail, other than a skunk tail. I would wear a different suit, but it would be to play a different part. I don't see myself as anything else but a skunk.
As far as other things go, I'm not big on collars, but I would consider it if I ever became "domesticated."

No desire to wear ears either.

I will only go for a full fursuit or nothing of the sort at all. I don't do much of 'inbetween', and definitely ears-tail are not my style.

My main fursona is feline

(established recently), however I also have an undead black wolf

, red fox

, red & grey squirrels

, and a mini-dragon

. I once had the desire to wear dog collars, but now I see that more as a symbol of an animal lacking enough intelligence to make its own choices. Intelligence is one of the most important aspects Anthro brings to the animals within me, so wearing a symbol that says I lack this intelligence is just not going to happen. If I ever wear a collar, its going to be a stylish one (like goth or steampunk), not one made for dogs.

Long ago I had insect and avisonas as well, but I couldn't wear anything for those except the wings.

I'm also a little odd with gloves, I can't stand the furry gloves that so restrict dexterity. Much prefer the furry hands makeup.

After I make my white and black/violet cat tail I will probably be making a red fox or silver/black wolf tail.

I wouldn't wear a collar... more of an independent and free type than domesticated.

As for species, I have some ears and tails costume accessories. Those are all feline. I have a tiger avatar on Facebook and a jaguar one here. I have some wolf t-shirts and an eagle t-shirt too. So I'm actually not really too picky there.

I really wouldn't wear a collar, outside of a gothic choker. It just wouldn't feel quite right. I also recently made dog ears and a tail I have very little interest in wearing. I really don't have any dog characters, ESPECIALLY ones that I would ever want to cosplay. Now that I have my hobbox tail made, I probably won't wear my coyote tail as much.

Full fursuit or nothing. I draw the line right there.

If I do not feel like going a full fursuit and merely dressing as my fursona, no earings or any jewelry. Leather bracers and wristbands(and collars as well) are the exception.
