You can never have enough foxes. :P
When fishes flew and forests walked
And figs grew upon thorn,
Some moment when the moon was blood
Then surely I was born.

My Fursona is an extension of all I am and the things i wanna be but cant for one reason or another.

I chose a coyote because i felt it best represents me as a whole in personality and habit. I also belive the coyote chose me because a few years ago a coyote approached me, sniffed my hand, Nuzzled against me then, Howled and ran off. It was then i knew a coyote was what i was.

So as far as my Fursona goes it's prolly never gonna change just because it feels like it's what i am and what i will always be.

To me, my fursona shows what I'm looking for in life, real or otherwise. She is a graceful, beautiful being that uses lunar light to heal wounds. However, she started life with white hair and bright blue eyes. Her hair turned a deep purple and eyes a violet color from being severely corrupted by darkness. Much the same way I was, in the form of major depression. I had some bad mood swings, symbolized in my fursona as a lack of control in her new dark powers. Ultimately, in the end, she wants nothing more than to use the powers of darkness for good. However, emotional floods keep her from gaining complete control, just as they keep me from gaining complete control over myself. She symbolizes my lack of self-control, and the desire to be a graceful being. That's all I can say about her and me for now.

My fursona is a gray wolf, i chose that because as a child i always howled, barked and acted like dog. I chose wolf over dog because dogs are overall nice to humans, and like human company, wolves however tend to keep to their pack. the only thing about my fursona i would change is the colors, she is gray right now since when i 'found' her i was depressed so i didnt like the bright colors i was seeign on other furries. she also recently gained retractable wings because id love to fly, so my fursona should be able to.

Quoted for truth =^.^=

Saloonka is a character for me, though he is somewhat more like me than my actual fursona. Scary isn't it? xD

I recently changed my name because I far prefer being this character over the other one, though I still have my Fursona as my fursona and all the other characters I have created over the years, Saloonka just happens to be my favourite :D

Wow, my fursona...

It's changed a lot over the time I've been in the fandom. My name has too, as the nice furs of Furtopia probably know :P
I was a Pokémon, then a penguin, then a penguin-cat, then a leafy sea dragon, then I was a dracocorn, then a dragon. Then I wanted to be something else and thought "Okay, this is just getting silly now!" and now I'm a shapeshifter, and I can be whatever I want, whenever I want without a fuss. My main form now is a dragon, because I have a spiritual connection with them and they can breathe fire and fly.

And of course at the moment I'm stuck as a prehistoric wolf after some shenanigans involving Blastdav and a species-changing ray gun. That's that's another story for another time o.o

Well mine is a mix of cat dog and wolf. I know most would say wolf and dog might as well be the same, but I dont feel that way. Though lately I've just said wolf and cat to avoid questions implying it.

Well my whole life I've identified with canines, wolves are my favorite. And I admire the pack structure. I mean truth its not a surprise to me that canines were turned into pets.  But as to why I put wolf in it...well apart from my love of werewolves lol, it is the layolty and wildness they represent to me that made me choose it. But I put dog into it because I am not completely wild and (although I hesitate to say this) I always feel a bit like property to my mates...I like the feelings so its not a bad thing. Just...more of a need to belong with them I guess.

And of course the cat. Well like cats I do what I want when I want most of the time and tend not to enjoy large groups. lol I keep to myself and dont usually go out of my way to talk to some one unless I really feel like it. and I nap all day.  :D

Idk I'm sure there are other deeper reasons I enjoy the idea of being a mixed breed like this, but I sure as hell dont know then yet lol

My Fursona is who I am. The human body I inhabit is just a temporary residence. My spiritual guide has spoken with my soul directly and informs me that I was curious about humanity so I took this body.

To me, my fursona is basically just a character I made... not on anything spiritual really, just a weasel that popped up in my head one night that kept on getting better.

Well, my fursona is basically the person I'd like to be.  She's not as self conscious as I am, she's a relaxes cow that just doesn't care about the things that don't bother her.  Before I was a fox, but I felt that the fox just wasn't me.  I wasn't cunning or swift or crafty, and I didn't wish to live as someone with those features.  The cow is just what it wants to be, sitting in her pasture and enjoying life as such.

My fursona is that of something spiritual to me, I also identify as otherkin, but I am also a fan of the furry. So, I just adopted how I see myself spiritually as an otherkin to the furry fandom. Most my life I felt canine and dragonic, over time with my involvement with otherkin I came to the conclusion spiritually I am something of a canine and dragonic creature mix. In short I call it a wolfdragon, (this took years, and yes there was changes here and there, but in the most part it remained wolf-like and dragon-like). Based on my dreams, I have many dreams of shifting into a wolf, and sometimes a dragon, and then sometimes I'm a human with wings, a man much like an angel, with black and blue wings. When I came to realize I had this humaniod form as well. I it was a hard road for myself to accepted being something angelic as well, but when I did fully accepted myself as three different aspects of my soul, then I became to see myself as something of all three I call it the "Dark angelic-wolf-dragon" or put very simple, "Glimmer" or rather just "me".

My fursona is an anthropomorphic version of my forms combined.
It's really a lonnnnnngger drawn out story then that, how I came to what I am now-a-days, but I'll just leave it short and as sweet as I can.
Now i just can't pretend to forget,
These voices in my head,
And they just won't stop screaming.

Cleyra is simply the other side of myself - the 'me' I can present through text but can't keep ahold of when I'm in public, with people. She's what I wish I could be all the time - she's softspoken, serious, tall, attractive, gentle (when she needs to be), strong, graceful... not to mention attractive, but that goes with the territory. :D

However, her species isn't completely set. When I first dreamed her up, she was a dragon-kin type creature; basically a dragon anthro but with a human face. :D

For a while I tried to set a real fursona for myself, and went through a couple of characters (rabbits, mostly) then an animal I created myself (a Fallfaun)... but then I realized that Cleyra was still a very active presence in my mind and my heart. So I decided to bring her out and dress her in new clothes. And it turns out that she looks good as pretty much anything. :D I picked Basitin for her, though, because I have sort of a phantom-limb sensation associated with Otherkin - very long, mobile ears and a long tail. It would be very easy for me to adjust to having the tail and ears for real (except for how I'd work around the issue of using my headphones! x_x)

However, recently I acquired a sort of a fox tail (it's a rabbit hide, though...) so I've been thinking in terms of foxiness... however, I can't change my regular mewling habits. :D

Hmmmm thats a very good question.
Kudos is half a reflection of myself half what i want to be.

reflection =
nice, caring, loyal, out going, cuddley, strong ( not so much with weights ( though i use to be) but rather physically like with the wrestling sport), compare myself to others a lot even when the person i'm comparing myself to is better at something for obvious reasons.

want to be =
socially relaxed ( not exactly social, just more comfurtable with himself in a social setting ), smexy though i get told time and time again that i am, kudos is less hard on himself, takes better advantage of a good oppurtunity, doesn't let what he feels get in the way with what he wants to do, and he's much more forgiving.

difference =
kudos is big individual (fat if u will, but like athletic) which is what i'm attracted to.

i chose bear 1) fav animal 2) strength 3) they big fellas but look at em go and 4) just like myself they very missunderstood.

i chose red for the primary color for 2 reasons 1) fav color and 2) for its symbolism, red has an array of powerful emotions, passion, love, anger, hate, courage, and so on

i am very attached to the species, expecially polar bears which if man kind has their way, it will soon be a formal creature rather then a member of the animal kingdom. :'(

Well the coati is like me as I destroy the house, I'm greedy and dart (run) around all the time but slim still like a coati and they are in the same family as Raccoons, as I am mad about washing.
I like locking my room so my family can't get in as I don't want them touching my stuff and coatis are great with opening locks.
Plus I found a picture of a coati that just looks like me even my family said so; scary but cool.
The coati one is the main personality of me and my enjoyment of eating.

I use to have an old one that I couldn't draw when I was a kid I use to be a anthro brown monkey but I think I got that idea because of that movie as I use to copy bits of movies as a kid of Coarse like putting toys in ice.

I got other new ones too but haven't finshed drawing them like a bird one!

Well, I've always liked cats.  Oddly, I've always been fascinated with big cats, not smaller cats like caracal, so you'd think I'd pick one of those.  I'm a bit baffled myself, but I don't identify with big cats.  I grok cats in general (really, grok doesn't get a red underline for spelling? nice), I understand their motivations, movements, and their play.  Play especially.

As for caracal specifically, I discovered them a few years ago when I was looking up "Egyptian cats", something for a supers RPG I was making a character for.  I came back to them a couple months ago when I was thinking about joining the fandom.  Something about them just clicked with me, I don't know what it is.  They're not as majestic as big cats, not quite as fast as cheetahs, and they look a bit ungainly with those hind legs being a bit longer than the front.  But I don't really feel the need to be winning any "amazing cat" contests, and if I did, hidden in those funny legs is the potential to jump over three times my body length that I couldn't manage otherwise.  Hidden talent I guess, a nice symbol if you're looking for one.

Plus, they're diverse, which is interesting.  They started out in my mind as a north african cat, but with a tiny bit of research I find they range all over africa, the middle east, and into west/central asia, with different subspecies, colorations, eating habits, etcetera.  Already a bit human-like, if you think about it.
Until you stalk and overrun, you can't devour anyone.

I think my fursona , is my phycological part of myself, that I have yet to understand.
I have a feeling this "other" side would stand out, hence the Mutant gene of a White Lion.

I think i'm still trying to figure out who my own fursona is. I'm trying to find part of myself I guess.

I don't know, when anything in the feline family whether is be cat, or Lion. I get the feeling it's these animals I can relate to. But who knows maybe i'm just crazy. :-/

Finding my own fursona's name and personality is part of my destiny ^_^

Mine is more or less who I am around my close friends.  I'm so much more open with my friends, even moreso than with my family.  I didn't really begin to open up to anybody until college.  Actually, I've changed quite a bit since going off to college.  But when I'm with my family, it's like I'm a different person.  I feel like I have to be much more guarded around them; watching everything I do or say.

So my fursona is a way for me to open up and be the new self that I've only recently discovered.  The past couple years, I've felt down a lot.  Especially when I'm bored.  And this summer, I have no job or money, so boredom is part of my daily life for now.  But fortunately, I've discovered one more thing about myself: my furry side.  Now, rather than being bored, I think about myself as a fox, trying to develop my character.  And I'm also trying to learn to draw, which can pass long periods of time without me even noticing.  These past three weeks (since I've been here), I've actually been happier.  Some of the negative thoughts that I would normally have during boredom have dissipated.

Lions are the most social of all big cats, and I'm the most social person in my family. Lions are normally viewed as proud and loyal creatures, which I am. Lionesses love the hunt, which is like loving to provide for their cubs and mate, which I love. In addition to that aspect of love of the hunt, I'm usually not attracted to anyone I don't have to chase first. I'm also extremely family oriented.

I am a teddy bear. Teddy Bears represent loyalty, protection and unconditional love to me. I identify with them strongly, though whether there is anything spiritual about it is yet to be determined. I like to think it is, but I'm not sure. My fursona is a bit more agressive than one would expect a teddy to be. I don't see teddy bears as fluffy little cuties, but as guardians.  I refuse to portray them as anything else. There are enough cute teddies out there. Mine are feral.

My fursona has, from the time I joined the fandom a few years back 'til now, always been a black fox.

Personality-wise, he's... me - just as hypocritical, loving, and sleep-deprived as the human sitting here and typing this right now.  :D

Why a fox? I don't know. I had liked the thought of an anthro fox even before I had heard of the fandom, and even now that foxes are the most abundant furries, I don't regret that.

The only thing that might really have meaning is the design (I'll have to up my fursona pic on my profile or something at some point.). Pitch-black, with only two patches of white, one on the tail and one on the chest. That's supposed to represent how much of myself I try to keep hidden (the abundance of black), and the few things I let be known or allow myself to show (the two patches of white). Finally, the eyes. Bright green, a deep contrast to his mostly dark fur, meant to show how one's inner spirit can contrast so greatly with that which others see.

Of course, a lot of that might sound like mindless blathering written by the kind of person who finds meaning in a bottlecap lying in a gutter.

I don't have much in common with cows, but when I started working with them I found I had an almost spiritual connection with them... I'm not sure if I see myself as a cow, so much as I feel I have a deep connection with cows. But is that enough to say what my fursona is?

You don't see many cow furries. That's pretty cool.

At the time of my last post my Fursona was not yet solidified. The bear concept was there but not fully fleshed out. Here's an update:

My fursona is a large teddy bear sewn together haphazardly with patches and different colored parts everywhere. He is bigger than a human and much stronger and sturdier. Tossing an 18 wheeler wouldn't be a difficult task for him. He represents my particular view of teddy bears. As someone who suffers from severe depression and anxiety, I've found that of all things I've tried to help cope with it, teddy bears work the best. They have successfully chased away severe panic attacks for me. As such I see them as very powerful guardians. Protectors. My fursona and every other teddy bear I draw represents this. I don't draw them cute. I make them tough looking, able to go toe to toe with the darkest evil there is and always come out on top.
